I just put my pen on a chain and I'll dare to wear it at school.

A koala is a small mammal that lives in trees called eucalyptus, and very handily eats the leaves from them.
THE koala is the koala who is sitting in a tree called Eucalyptus and munching on the leaves whilst I type this up.

Wow... You are so cool... I meant, because you are weird and made it sound like a person...

I feel special... today my friend started a CPB after she finished reading TSS... I'm so proud.
My common place book is black, with pictures of eyes I cut out of magazines. As everyone and my cat know (He's sitting on me. Uncomfortable.)

Yes. Er...thanks. Though really, I'm suspecting that the koala is a schismed V.F.D.-er in disguise (Phase Two).

I don't think you can start one after reading the books...

Yes! I started one! I made a little notebook. I cut 2 pieces out of a Chico's box for the front and back covers, then I cut paper to fit inside, then I poked holes and looped bendy wire through the top. It was quite fun, a small challenge. Anyway, I am now writing in it (not now as in at this moment, not as in I started it a few days ago, and am still continuing to write in it currently). I don't have any notes in there yet, but I do have a few passages from books that I think may be coded. Have any of you read any books from teh series The Magic of Xanth? If so, look in the second book, The Source of Magic, in the last paragraph on page 50 (and continuing a few paragraphs after) It is most definately in code. The Sebald Code to be precise. It's a bit hard to figure out the message Piers Anthony sent, even after decoding it...

WTF? I don't think Sebald code extends out of ASOUE. Are you serious? How do you know?

That's what I thought, but I'm completely serious. I know because it is the Sebald Code...? Here's the passage:
The vines of the plant reared up, their bells ringing stridently. The tinnabulation became deafening-and disconcerting. "We have to get out of here!" Bink cried, but knew he could not be heard above the noise. Chester had his hands to his ears and he bucked about, kicking individual bells-but for every one he smashed, a dozen clanged louder. Crombie spread his wings and flapped violently upward. The vines stretched and the clangor of the bells bacame shrill, then muted. The tension prevented them from swinging properly, so they could not ring.
~The Source of Magic by Piers Anthony, pgs. 50 and 51
Crazy, huh? If you don't believe me, you can check out that book and see for yourself.

I think it's a coincidence.

It doesn't have to be. Aren't there allusions and references to other literature in ASOUE? How would this be different, besides making no sense? And congrats on your commomplace book, Kitrina.

Interesting!
Stridently out heard and one and swinging
hmmm.. Doesn't make a lot of sense, but congrats at finding this! And on the CPB.
