i was gonna say... but i bet esme is young- 25 ish or so. but would she really want to go out with some 50 year old guy if she is not that old? he could have just trained her for vfd, he may not have really been her acting teacher

I always thought Olaf was about 50-55, and Esme was about 25-30...

Master of Cheese- uh, Count Olaf's hair is grey and he's kinda balding. Plus his hands look kinda gnarly- the only reason I don't put him in his 60's or 70's is because he's waaaaaay too active and scheme-full to be that old (altho I am pretty sure there are adults that active that are 60-70)

Yeah, I am 19 and I fall for men in their fifties, so that's not unlikely Esme did the same.
Here is my guess.
Esme is roughly 25 when she meets Olaf and takes his acting lessons, Olaf in his forties. Esme is now in her mid-thirties, Olaf in his mid-fifties.
