He seemed really nice. Does everyone know something about him I don't? Is he a satanist? Canibal? Does he set fire to kittens and puppies? Why?

youll learn that many people here have (dare i say it, stupid ideas..) strange opinions that have basically no proof to back it up. its the hard truth, and dont try reasoning with them, they just give u a load of...well....b.s....its sad.

I don't think he stole Violet from anyone! He did nothing wrong. We don't even know if they kissed or anything when DH left them alone in TSS. Maybe they played chess. I hate people knowing I play chess.Very personal............ Opps I've said too much.............

Well, someone (Tyler) started hating Quigley because he thinks Quigley stole Violet from Duncan. But I don't think that is what happened. I have nothing against Quigley, but I don't really like him from what I have heard.

its like in TVV, when klaus talks about mob psychology. one person probably mentioned that quigley "stole" violet from duncan, then stupid people started agreeing, and now everybody hates quigley with no legitamate reason. that about sums it up.

I think so too! He is probably a V/D shipper, so he doesn't like Quigs 'cause he kissed Violet. And I have another thing to say to stupid people: WHY THE HELL DO YOU THINK THEY SNOGGED OR GOT *SHUDDERS* INTAMITE?! Look, the are mature enough not to go snogging on a ledge. Snicket Girl, the reason I'm so nervous because writers are nosey. Either Snicket couldn't find out information or he wanted to leave them alone because whatever they were doing was inappropriate, but I doubt he wanted to respect their privacy. I'm a writer; I'm one of the nosiest people I know; same with my dad.

i totally agree with Ace, well put. but i think Quigley is an OK character, i think some peple dont like him because of some of the reasons mentioned and that he'a new character that just appeared in the books, you need time to get used to the character
