It would be sad if any of the Bauedelaires died, but especially Klaus, just because I love Liam Aiken and I couldn't stand to watch him die in a movie. I'm glad he's out!

Maybe one of the Baud parents comes back, then dies.

that would be quite interesting though, if their parents just kind of, showed up.

Do you think Daniel really has the heart to kill off a toddler? I think a Quagmire will die, or...my random theroy: Count Olaf will be inches away from Sunny, holding a knife. Then, a mysterious figure will swoop in and rescue her, only to be killed themselves by Count Olaf. The mysterious figure will be one of the Baudelaries parents, but only Sunny will know that.

OFF TOPIC(kinda)
you know, i read somewhere that Snicket(Daniel) was being completely serious in all his books and had no intention of bringing kids to laugh, apparently there were supposed to be completely depressing books. but i read that somewhere on the internet and as even the books tell us; you can't believe everything you read.

I think he intended them to have dark humour. Twisted dark humour.

I think that the mom is the sourvivor. . . they should probelly meet her, in the hotel. . . @ the end of TSS, it clearly says that the dad is dead, and it wouldn't make sense, if Quig was the sourvivor, in a pic of the Baud parents. {thier file}

I believe they will witness Beatrice's death at the end of the series. FASCINATING idea. Perhaps she'll be introduced as a new character in the next book (12), and killed off in book 13. Maybe she'll even help them solve some of the VFD mysteries. But that's just a thought...

Is it sick of me to hope that if any of them dies, it's Sunny?
That said, I'd rather them all live, but given the nature of the books, it wouldn't surprise me if at least one of them died. Woe.

I think Sunny will die if any, because the other two have clear defined places (Violet: Oldest, Inventor Klaus: Middle, researcher) Sunny is just sort of there, except certain times, like in the Eratz Elvator. Maybe I'm wrong, because she is starting to develop into a more rounded character...

She is gathering skills as a culinary artist, a skill that supposedly has some VFD importance as suggested in certain passages of TSS.
Hey - maybe they do get killed by realtors, or at least realtors are bad guys! I mean, Josephine was afraid of them, right? And she was in VFD, or least her husband was right (depending on whether you go by the movie or the books)? Well, this may seem like a stretch, but Handler does like to make literary allusions, and at the end of some Daniel Pinkwater book, it turns out that all real estate agents are actually aliens who want to take over the earth - or maybe it's lawyers...
You know what? Never mind.
