I don't think it is.. but I don't really remember the animation being alike. It reminds me of that "Emily" girl they have at Hot Topic. I was going to say that or the tim burton drawings like in the Melancholic Death of Oyster Boy

They strongly resemble the newly released sketches of Tim Burton's Willy Wonka. CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT MOVIE.

What would you like to see?
The Willy Wonka photos?
or
Photos of the cards?

Don't have 'em on me. If you go to www.comingsoon.net/forums go to Movies Coming Soon and on one of the pages it should say something like 'Clip Of Willy Wonka Script Plus Images' or something like that. They're there.

I love those images. I hope they make tees with those images on them. BTW, The Snicket Source has all the 12 cards now. In fact there are 13, but the 13th is a rare card. If you collect them all you "lose" and will travel to the premiere of the movie. More information at the Official movie site.

They don't have it yet. And the Oficial Site won't tell. Apparently there are only 13 13th cards printed.

Has anyone gotten cards anywhere else besides eBay or at the ComicCon?
Are bookstores going to carry them?

Has anyone gotten cards anywhere else besides eBay or at the ComicCon? Are bookstores going to carry them? Anywhere you see promotions for the movie could have the cards. They won't be for sale- they'll be given away on a first come, first served basis. www.unfortunateeventsmovie.com/tradingcardrules.htmlHOW TO PLAY: During the Challenge Period, sets of three (3) Trading Cards will be distributed one per person (while supplies last) at various events (e.g., conventions, malls, television show sets, websites, Halloween events, cyber cafes), associated with, or somehow promoting the release of, the motion picture "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" (the "Picture"). The entire universe of approximately 500,000 Trading Cards consists predominantly of twelve different "common" Trading Cards -- including Violet, Klaus, Sunny, Count Olaf, Captain Sham, Stephano, Deadly Vipers, Hook Hands, Actor, Sailor, Assistant, Orphans. Also included in the entire universe of Trading Cards are thirteen (13) official copies of a thirteenth Trading Card (the "Rare Trading Card"). The Rare Trading Card must be collected along with all twelve of the "common" Trading Cards in order to form a winning combination

I just bid on a set of card on eBay. It includes the 12 non-winners and a sealed set of three that could include the winning 13th card. (I'm not holding my breath.)
Going to the premiere would be so cool!
