My brother thinks that hes really a bad guy. Remember the gleem of triumph, or whatever, in the 4th book when Harry tells him the Voldemort can touch him. I dont think hes a bad guy though. Not dear old Dumbly!

Dumbly? Omy, that's an interesting nickname. Yeah, the glint of triumph is confusing, but he can't be bad, it just wouldn't work. As far as death goes . . . well, JKR said it would be a fan of Harry's, none of the three main characters, and that the death would be "horrible to write." It has to be someone we all love, someone big, but not crucially important. I'm thinking either Hagrid or Molly Weasley.
