I don't think they are dopes. But JK didn't say any and so...........people assumed that they are cowards and the " dope" house. I wouldn't mind it.
I am a Ravenclaw. Gryffindor is okay..........but Slytherin........well my "friend", she is a person who has it in their warped mind that Slytherin is great. I think that she is actually upset that she got into Slytherin and is trying to act like she loves. No offense to Slytherin lovers.
