I Think I'm the ONLY one who thinks Alan Rickman was perfect for snape LOL!! Dumbledore was well done, Richard Harris was perfect, I'm not sure about the new guy tho, has anyone else seen pics of him in costume? I don't think he looks the part. All the adults so far have been awesome, but they should have made Hagrid bigger. Emma Watson(Hermione), is a bad actress, and what happened to the buckteeth? and her hair isnt poofy enough!! Dan is ok as Harry, he looked the part on the 1st movie, but was a little stiff. Now he is too old-looking, IMO. Rupert Grint was also stiff in the 1st, but he got way better in the second:-) I think the movies were definetely a little corny, and they tended to stray to extremes rather than keep everyone in the middle when it came to personalities. Anyways, thats just my opinion!! And i've bored you long enough:-)

I always imagined Hermione as someone who wasn't extremely pretty, but had the potential to be. Alan Rickman did make a great Snape, but if he was played by someone younger it would add the effect that someone only in their mid-thirties is so...Snapish.

You werent supposed to know she was pretty, Ron and Harry only figured it out when the came to the ball all dressed up...but then, theyre guys. Louisa |

I loved the movies because I love seeing the books come to life (corny or not ;D) I think Richard Harris did an excellent job. I just hope Ian McKellan can live up to Harris' standards in Prisioner of Azkaban!
