Yeah, harry admitted the death eaters would prolly be out soon, but I can't see how it can be that easy to break out, I mean, think of all that water and who/what will be guarding them. Sirius was a special case since he could be a dog.

But...I am sure there is some spell that can take them over the water, especially since they are dangerous criminals, right? Unless you are talking magical protection...of some sort...

Well Sirius had to swim and he was better for it since he was a dog. Galadriel thinks dementors were created, how? and who? And why don't the dementors seem to affect Fudge, he gets along so well with them it seems. And then they revolted against him anyway.

Yes, I have wondered that about Fudge, he doesn't seem to exactly enjoy talking to them, but he doesn't seem to get appalled or cold inside about it... Maybe he is evil... Hee, I am sorta joking although that is a theory of Galadriel's sorta...

maybe the dementors only affect people they're being sicked on like prisoners and innocent children? I'm not sure fudge is evil, just a paranoid control freak who closed his eyes too much.

Definitely paranoid...But I think he chooses to close his eyes so he won't have to deal with a difficult situation. It is a stupid thing to do, since it just makes it worse on his part in the long run.

Exactly. It seems odd, he was concerned about voldie in the 3rd book "you know who alone and frienless is one thing but give him his strongest supporter and I shudder to think how quickly he'll rise again" But then in the 4th and 5th books he wouldn't hear of it..

It IS strange. Maybe he wanted to sound like a good little minister, worried about his community, in the 3rd book. And then after there were rumors that Voldy really DID get out, he got worried and started denying.

<shrugs> we muggles cannot be expected to fathom the mind of the minister of magic. Even though he is not a very good minister. *grumbles*

KILL THE MINISTER!!! Sorry, I had to get back in the conversation. Its about time someone did! Sometimes I feel as though Zach and I are the only ones alive on the HP board-thingy anymore.

I've known that we're not. On some topics it seems we are, but sam(cousinlembas), Kelsea, and I continually talk on the bad hp title thread.

I don't even know what thread you're talking about. And I talk on here, too, just not as frequently. No one loves me, I'm going to go cry.
