I don't think I'm smart enough to go in Ravenclaw and I wouldn't fit into Hufflepuff or Slytherin, though I'm probably like the poeple in Slytherin on lesser level so I go into Gryffindor by defualt, plus I kind think I'd belong there.

I said Gryffindor. It's an interesting house if you look past the fact that it's way overplayed. A lot of people would put me in Ravenclaw because I'm a nerd - but look at Hermione. A lot of people would put me in Hufflepuff because I'm unswervingly loyal - but look at Ron or Neville or even Colin Creevey.
I think that the hat picks not necessarily the superficial trait that everyone sees, but your true hidden personality that comes out in the most extreme of situations. You wouldn't think that Neville would actually attempt to fight the Death-Eaters, but he does in book five.
