Study (eg: with books and a piano), Kitchen, Couple of beds, a bathroom. I'd feel terrible living in a secluded area. You have to have some neighbours to chat with or to rely on if there's any emergency!
It should be a very clean looking house too. But an open house would seem a bit frightening, because of the echoes.

Although I do love my current house (I live in a log house on three acres with a pool, which is on a dead-end road with only three houses on it - some pictures are in Creativity) I also want a Victorian-style house, preferably with a turret and interesting architecture. The inside should be spacious, with wood floors, a modern kitchen, and built in bookcases. The outside should be secluded on no more than an acre of land, with lots of trees, but it shouldn't be to far away from the nearest town.

Are you guys practical and want a house that will suit your comfort, or do you think the house should have grandeur and look pleasing for the neighbours? These two overlap in a way, for you'll probably be pleased and comfortable if the house has aesthetics.

I'd like a house in a secluded area. I'm not particularly picky on the details as long as my neighbors live at least a mile away. You've obviously never lived int he middle of nowhere. *raises eyebrow* It sucks beign amile form neighbours. If you're a miel form neighbours, then jsut imagine how far it is until you reach town. We used to have to drive 30 minutes jsut to get to Walmart. And if that Walmart didn't have it, the other one was an hour away. Country isn't as glamourous as it seems. Anywho.*inhale* Medium-sized kitchen with a fridge built in to the cabinets, Large living room with high ceilings and three huge arched windows spread out in it, an upstairs section office that is at the top of one staircase and overlooks the livingroom form a balcony, another staircase- A spiraled one leading to the bedrooms and a bathroom, a master bed and master bath downstairs, indoor pool, tall brick home with molded concrete trims and balconies, all upstairs bedrooms have personal showers and balconies, whisteria border lining the driveway, calm neighbourhood with alot of old people and tall trees, close to town, brick pathways leading to gardens, hot tubs, and a play area for the little ones. *GASP* Gee. I spend far too much time anticipating my future and the living styles I will have. Oh, and don't forget the cat-room. A whole room for my hundreds of cats. Most of them either grey or black. A huuuggeee litter box that can be dropped out in to the garbage chute, scratching posts and jungle gyms for all the precious furry friends, automated food-refillers set to fill a 5-gallon tub up each week, and beds all over the place. Lots of boxes with blankets in them, as cats prefer that to regular beds. ;D Whoo.... Gee I wish I had money... Ooh, and a car/motorcycle show-room for all my collections...
