hmm, thas hard to do...honestly, i dont think he has contributed to visual arts, because in all my days of being a crispin fan, I have never seen any drawings or paintings. I did once however see a crispin convention, where HE would be, LIVE. Unfortunately, i was 2 days late, and i still hate myself for missing it...anyway, Maybe the countess could provide some of his art? Ive heard of him making various sculptures.

A fansite is here: www.crispinglover.friendpages.com . Me and my friend Jen made it a while ago. It's sorta old, and hasn't been updated in a while. But it's still cool. My essay on his album can be located in Weary World. What else....? Oh yes, lyrics: Clowny Clown ClownI was walking on the ground. I didn't make a sound, then I turned around, and I saw a clown. Had a frown. Stood on a mound. Started barking like a hound.
When I came to what I found, he showed me something that was brown, so we became great friends and late in life, he got sick... I gave him some soup, but he got worse and asked for its purse. It got it, but it was empty, so it cried a plenty.I wondered what to do. I didn't know what to think -- so I got a drink.
And then I showed it something that was round, and it died, smiled, and fell on the ground.
Thinking back about those days with the clown, I get teary-eyed and really sny. I think that deep down, I hated that clown, but not as much as Mr.Far...I'm going to go smoke a cigar.
I was walking on the ground, I didn't make a sound and then I turned around -- I saw a clown. Clown. Clowny Clown Clown.
HAHA! I hate you clown. Your ugly frown. Smiley lips. Think I'll clip you across the nose, clown. Haha. Want a cigar? It'll get you far...haha...like Mr.Farr...get it? Haha...Mr.Farr?
Clown. Clown.
(Coughs) See what a cigar'll do? HEHE!
Clown. Ugly Clown. The Daring Young Man On The Flying TrapezeA man was once happy, but now he's forlorn, like an old coat that is tattered and torn. Left in this wide world to weep and mourn, betrayed by a maid in her teens.
Well this maid that he loved, she was handsome, and he tried all he knew her to please. But he never could please her one quarter so well as the man on the flying trapeze.
I float through the air with the greatest of ease. The daring young man of the flying trapeze, my actions are graceful, all girls I do please and this love I purlointh away.
I play with a miss like the cat with a mouse. My eyes would undress every maid in the house. Perhaps I am better described as a louse, but still people come just the same..
I smile from the bar, on the people below, and the one night I smile on his love (Heh) as she blew me a kiss and she hollered, 'Bravo!' as I hung by the bar from above.
I float through the air with the greatest of ease. The daring young man of the flying trapeze, my actions are graceful, all girls I do please and this love I purlointh away.
Some months after that he came into a hall, to his surprise he found there on the wall, a bill in red letters which did his heart gall, that she was appearing with me.
I taught her gymnastics and dressed her in tights, to help me live at my ease. I made her take on a masculine name and now she goes on the trapeze.
I float through the air with the greatest of ease. The daring young man of the flying trapeze, my actions are graceful, all girls I do please and this love I purlointh away.
And this love I purlointh away.
And his love keeps her lointh away...And that's all I can do so far. I'll post more later.

hmm, thas hard to do...honestly, i dont think he has contributed to visual arts, because in all my days of being a crispin fan, I have never seen any drawings or paintings. Most of the art I've seen has been in his books. I'll make some scans, but they might not be the best quality. I'll do my best.

Here's an example of some of his art, it's a scan from Oak Mot: Sorry the scan is so crappy, but my scanner isn't working well right now. I'll see if I can get a better picture later. Or maybe I'll look online. I love his art... very surreal. Half photograph, half drawing.... I like that style. Very cool. Oh, and in case you are wondering, the writing at the bottom says "When a man is prepared to die, it hurts us more to see him die than it does him to do it.". Yeah.

I got more art! Here's the cover of The big problem does not equal the solution, the solution equals let it be. In my opinion, it's some of the best art he's done. Very dark... very good. Yeah. Oh, and I have another scan from Oak Mot... Yeah. Woot. I scanned another, but photobucket wont load it, for some reason. Oh, well.
