you learned to read? walk? talk? use the toilet?
C: And how were you trained to do these things, if you remember/know because your parents told you?

I was four or five when I learned to read, still couldn't read very well until kindergarten, though. Because my mom took me to the library and stuff.
I learned to walk when I was one. I don't want to share when I learned to use the toilet.
And I don't remember learning to walk, but I remember the toilet and reading.

2 and a half? Wow....
I don't really know the answer to these questions. My mum was filling out this questionaire at the doctor office and it had questons like my first hiccup. My first step. My first laugh. My first tooth. Stuff like that. So, my mum jsut chose some months that sounded good and wrote them down.

I learned to read when I was three. The book was "Red Fish, Blue Fish, One Fish, Two Fish" by Doctor Suess. I remember reading it.
I don't quite know when the other things were. They're probably written down somewhere.

I don't have any idea. My mother should know this kind of stuff... I mean that's what mothers do, they get obsessed with their first born child.

I could read when I was three too. Some next door neighbour jokily told me to read a page of this book, and I did and he was shamed.
And I don't know about the other things either...I should go have a look for my baby book now.

Read--My mom says at three. Walk--Um...no idea Talk--ditto Toilet--ditto.
Actually, the only thing mother's ever told me was when I started to read. I looked in my baby book once, but it's really patchy and mom barely entered anything in it a few weeks after I was born.

Read: Three, I think. But until I was about four most of the time my mum read to me.
Walk: Can't remember... but I know that it wasn't too early or too late, so meh.
Talk: When I was two, I think. There is this video of me when I'm at my uncle's house and I didn't want to leave, but my mum said we had to, so I told her to shut up. Hehe. But everyone laughed, so it was OK.
Toilet: No idea...
