WEll, If you won't finish it I will.**determined look on my face. crosses arms** I like this one! On the drive to Uncle Olaf's there was nothing that would make the LotsaLucks feel like singing, creating an art project, or imagining new stories. Only funny smells and a ugly shack or 2. Laurie said to Larry, "There is nothing here that makes me feel like singing, creating an art project, or imaging new stories." Larry agreed,"Only the funny Old man Grumpus smell. PU!" "Koipinative!" shrieked Lil Linda. None of her siblings were intelligent enough to enterprit it. When they finally reached Uncle Olaf's house, the Lotsalucks were cramped from being in ol' Man Grumpus's car. As soon as they took thier first step out side the automobile, a tall and evil man walked infront of them blocking the sun. " Hello, Lotsalucks! I am your new guardian Coun- I mean Uncle Olaf. " said the tall man. OK, You can take it from here. Just hurry, cause all probubly finish it for you. SORRY! I have lots of ideas!

"Here, I will give you a tour of my humble home. I'm sure it's not much compare to the Lucksalot manshion, but it'll have to do," Uncle Olaf told the orphans. "Here is your room." Before the Lucksalots could say a word as to how drab and unimaginative thier room was, the door was shut in thier faces. "Ooblah," Lil Linda remarked. Even her very basic siblings knew what that meant. So sad.

Even with this box closet We'll bet happy I will bet I f we keep singing joyful song Then our moods will move right along! ;D "That really improved my mood, Larry!" said Laurie, "Now lets find some colorful markers to draw smileys and unicorns and butterflies and things that will make us happy on the wall!" "Maybe if we can find some scraps of material, we can sow a quilt with hearts shapes or other friendly, loviley things!" added Larry. "Cheek!" yelled Lil Linda

"Now that would be nice, now wouldn't it?" Uncle Olaf took the Luclsalots compleatley by suprise. "I'm afraid it wouldn't go with my decorating though. See, eyes everywhere."

"We're sorry, Mr. Er...Mr.Olaf," Laurie said. "We didn't want to go against what you wanted your house to look like," even though she would have liked to completely change it. "That's right. MY house. Whatever I put in MY house stays the way it is." Olaf said, his voice slightly raised. Lil Linda started crying. "Shut that brat up or I'll shut her up!" "Ssshh, Linda!" Larry said. Sniffling, Linda stopped crying, but tears were sitll in her eyes. "I do not want to be bothered by you. If I need to see you once more today--even this week--you will suffer the consequences." Olaf left, slamming the door, making bits of cieling fall down. The Lucksalot children huddled in a corner, crying as softly as they could.
All week, they were careful as to not to annoy Olaf. When they would sing, they would sing as quietly as they could. When they would draw, with the few tools they had--and the tools they had were just dull, grey pencils--they would be sure to hide their artwork behind their bed.

Like every other day, Olaf left the Lucksalots a list of chores to do. This list was just like any other, only the last request was abnormal:
Stuff for the Orphans to Do: * Do the dishes * Paint the porch * Remove hair from the shower drain * Make dinner for my henchmenfriends
"We never had to cook at home!" exclaimed Larry. "Well, we never had to remove hair from the shower drain either," murmured Laurie under her breath. "I suppose we should make what mother and father used to bake for us," The Lucksalots looked in Uncle Olaf's pantry for suitible ingredients. "Hmm...Hot sause, pepper, onoins, old cabbage, fuzzy cheese...I don't think thier's anything good for us to make a meal out of," said Larry. "I know! Let's go to the super market! Uncle Olaf left us alittle cash!" So off the Lucksalots joyfully skipped to the supermarket, hearts (and stomachs) happy at the thought of thier dinner that night...

"Hmmm...Not enough sugar," concluded Laurie after looking at a box of Very Fine Delacasies. "Look! Variety of Flavored Donuts!" said Larry. "Perfect!" shrieked 'Lil Linda. With that, the Lucksalots trotted home. "I'll set the table with our festive utensiles!" volunteered Laurie. "I'll make the Koolaid!" said Larry. "Yack!" said 'Lil Linda. "WHAT!" bellowed Uncle Olaf as he walked into the room with his henchman, "Donuts, Koolaid, cupcakes! After I feed and clothe you this is the thanks I get! And this ridiculous silverware not to mention the vase of flowers on the table! PORK CHOPS! I clearly specified pork chops and brandy!!"
