My friend at school gave me this idea... She gave me the idea to write a parody of A Series of Unfortunate Events, like Barry Trotter or Bored of the Rings. Coming Soon, I'm writing it.

Chapter One: The Intro, and The Bad Beginning It was the beginning of another day for the Yodolaires, which was cloudy. The Yodolaires were bright, charming children, and they had pleasant facial features, but they were extremely unlucky. Violet Yodolaire, the eldest at 14 was an excellent Turnupstuff, which here means someone who looks at the ground constantly for things people might have dropped, and also in tree-trunks and other places you or I would not be bothered to look for things. In addition to being a Turnupstuff, she was also an inventor, which was extremely useful, as she could easily make something of her surrondings. To keep her hair out of her eyes so she could focus on inventing, she tied her hair up in a bow with a red ribbon she'd had since she was a Violetette. Klaus, the middle Yodolaire at Twelve and half was a researcher and a writer. He took notes in a notebook his sisters had give to him for his birthday. He wore glasses, which made him look intelligent. He was intelligent. The Yodolaires had an enormous mansion in the city with an enormous library in which he liked to read in. Unlike many boys his age, he had read a great number of books, such as "The encyclopedia of absolutely everything" and "The life of Nikola Telsa" and he learned a great deal of information from them. Sunny, the youngest, loved to bite things recreationally, with her four teeth, all of which were extremely sharp. The Yodolaire's misfortunate begun att Whiny Beach, which was rumored to have moany sands, literal to its name. Violet was standing absent-mindedly skipping rocks. Klaus was examining rocks, and occasionally handing them to his sisters, so Violet could skip them and Sunny to bite them. Suddenly, Violet spotted at shadow in the fog. she threw the rock at it, and the shape toppled to the ground, clearly dead. The Yodolaires gasped, and the shape stood up. "April fools!" it cried. The Yodolaires knew who it was. It was Mr. Moe, a friend of their parents. He was always getting the date wrong, and always seemed to have a cough. Predictably, he coughed into a hankercheif. "I have bad news. Your parents...are dead. Killed. Burnt. In a fire. I'm sorry to tell you, my dears." he said quietly. "Come dears, to my house. We'll sort where you'll go there, and I'm tell you what's happened on the way." He offered his hand to Violet, who took it, and Klaus and Sunny followed, solemly. The Yodolaires-orphans now- followed him silently, taking small, sad steps away from their normal, happy lives, to this sad, unusual one.

Chapter Two: As Violet, Klaus, and Sunny walked solemly behind the jabbering Mr Moe, they reflected on their
old, happy lives. Their Mother and Father. Their Mansion. And, of course, being together.
"The house was all destroyed. Not a thing left that wasn't destroyed." Mr Moe's voice
said, breaking the deadly silence. The Yodolaires had been very quiet on the walk to
his house, Mr Moe speaking enough for three, or rather sixteen.
Violet stared glumly at the stone in her hand, which she had picked up after throwing it.
Being so glum however, she did not look very carefully, in if she had, she would have noticed an insignia,
which here means; "A mark or sign relating to an organization or a club", which would be
relavent to the near future, however confusing it might be.
Violet slipped the stone into her pocket, upon seeing nothing that intrested her.
Sunny was looking up at Violet, watching her, and didn't notice a person in front of her,
and walked right into the peg-leg the person had.
"Sorry." the man said in a gravelly voice. The person had a hat pulled down over his
eyes, so they couldn't tell who it was.
He clumped of in the opposite direction.
"Here we are." Mr Moe's voice rang out into the darkness.
They Yodolaires walked in. The house had a distinct sharp smell to it, like an unpleasant flower of some sort,
of which the Yodolaires definitely did not like. But, being good-mannered children, said nothing and took their shoes off.
