Up on the left, you'll see a group of bears. On the right,a big hill of snow. And,up ahead,we see a house that always stays dark.Hey-I hear clicking coming from it!Oh!Behind us,we'll see a trailor filled with freaks, and a young couple. That is the tour of the Valley of Four Drafts for today.Hey?What? The tattoo on my ankle?Oh,ignore that...Hey!A giant hot air balloon with a man and twins...let me go investigate...

TEXT
All right, heres what I think about this whole vfd thing. U know that olaf was eager 2 get 2 the valley of 4 drafts, right? what if the headquarters is one of the bad vfd's, not the good? maybe the people are holding the parent hostage. like when count olaf said thare's a parent up there.
Tell me what u think.

"But we don't even know where the bank is," Klaus said. "I have a map of the city," Count Olaf said. "Good-bye, Mr. Poe."

But if it's the bad VFD's Headquarters, then why would Olaf need a map?

Perhaps he's too drunk to remember.

But someone may be drunk alot, but not all the time. Not even Olaf. Plus you'd be able to tell- his movement and his smelly breath. Maybe he just forgot the way.

His breath is always smelly. Maybe the stench covered the smell of the champagne or wine or beer or whatever he was drinking.

'course not. these are childrens books, and although we may all be bright, were still not adults. except 4 a few people. and note that i did not say children.

Yeah, the most adult-like part wasn't even for adults.

Olaf was drunk in TBB, I think, wasn't he? And there are a few things in the books that are quite adult, (I could name them but it's late so I'll throw out only one, Esme and Jerome's relationship. There's a good reason he didn't argue with her, Lemony gives it to us in LSUA) but they are adult in a subtle way, not hitting you over the head with it. That's what makes me love the series.
