I read that the US are getting their version of the UK hit program, The Office. Has it started already, and if so, does anyone like it? The UK version was absoloutley hysterical...I don't think that the USA version can beat it.

Everything British or Japanese that the US touches turns to crap (i.e. any of the numerous British shows we've stolen, Iron Chef USA. But Most Extreme Elimination Challege roxxors XD), but I love Office so I'll probably watch at least the first episode.
"So, Gareth, what's your ultimate fantasy?" "Well...lesbians, I guess. Sisters." "..." "You know, I never thought I'd say this, but I wouldn't mind hearing more from Gareth."

We get the British version on BBC America. But I've never watched it.
Seems the US kinda copies off the UK shows. e.g. they have Changing Rooms. (my mom is obsessed with that show, and I've watched it sometimes.) and America made Trading Spaces.

I haven't heard of Clean Sweep.
Plus, America copied Pop Idol with American Idol. I'm not sure who copied who with Big Brother.
