What do you think of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musicals? I've been obsessed with Phantom of the Opera for awhile now, and now I'm getting into Les Miserables. *squee*

I've seen Phantom. It was pretty good, but the chandilear scene wasn't as affective cause we were sitting way up so it didn't come crashing down on our heads I've also been in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. also a very good play. And I love the music from Jesus Christ SuperStar. was Les Miserables done by Weber? I like bunch of the songs from there too.

the child Kobolos name is Erik. It won me the grand prize when Phantom came to our city a few years back. Needless to say I'm fan enough to still be disgusted at the lack of Crawford int he upcoming movie.

Oh no, I live in a small city so it might as well be a hundered years before they show it as well as it could be fifty. Something tells me you live in a big city.
I've heard of all these musicals, but I'd have to bribe my parents into going to some big city like Edmonton, and I don't care about it soo much as to do that.

Okay, I'll admit . . . I like Cats. A lot. I like the music in Phantom more, but have never seen it, so . . . Must do that someday. The costume designs in Cats are awesome . . . very cat-like. My opinion, anyway.

OK, just curious, do you see this on TV or at the theatre or what? I think I saw a clip of this musical Cats somewhere, on TV.

Both . . . well, on video first, then live at the opera house. I dunno know it was the original Boradway cast of what, but it was very cool.

Whoa, back up. They're making Phantom into a movie? And they're NOT using Crawford? Can you spell "Evil?"

I'll try to rent it at the movie store. But I don't want to end up getting sick of it like the time I tried to read Jane Eyre. I haven't even read half of Jane Eyre and I wasn't sure if I was enjoying it taht great.

Ahem. Jane Eyre ROCKS! And I really do love Les Misérables (I say to stay on topic). Actually, I'm listening to Empty Chairs and Empty Tables. I don't listen to a lot of musicals, I can't really say much about the others... mhm. And Salex, whereabouts do you live? You mentionned Edmonton being a big city so you're probably a province or so away from me... on the good ole Canadian prairies™...

Eastern Alberta. I don't know if I should name the city though. And I do'nt think you care that much.
Jane Eyre wasn't a bad book but I didn't know if reading about how Jane Eyre is attending boarding school is what I call 100% interesting. Some parts of what I read were intersting though.
Oh, and on-topic? I don't know. I'll come back to this once I actully watch something by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Nothing in a big opera house because there aren't any where I live :-(.
