I was having conversation with my father and the word Lachrymose came up. I looked it up and the definitions are: 1. Given to tears or weeping 2. tending to cause tears
I thought that it was cool how it worked with the books.

I love the way Snicket does that, you know? Well, ha...you do...considering you are an undead vampire dolphin sea creature who was friends with the first ever vampire dolphin, Penny. I'll stop now. Funny thing, last week in AP Gov, my teacher said xenophobe...I tried to hard not to laugh! Snicket honestly makes the world a better place. Anytime I hear random people saying Snicketisms, I have to smile.

I told my English teacher what Lachrymose meant three years ago because she didn't know it. She was like: "Are you sure that's a real word?" And I said that it was and told her the definition.

Lachrymose...hmm...interesting word/name. I wonder what other names (in the books) are like that! I also love how Lemony Snicket does that since i've read his books, it's like the dictionary has been a good friend also dictionary.com

I used to think people were in V.F.D. every time I heard a "Snicketism"
