I still cant figure it out. In the TEE, Esme said that Beatrice stole something from her, and in the HH(i think) LS said he stole a sugarbowl...but I dont get it!

my memory might be getting fuzzy again, but does anyone else think that the reference to the ceramic figurines in cc seem out of place? i think he mentioned it like 3 times. when i think sugarbowl, i think ceramic. maybe that's where it was before it was thrown into the stricken stream.

I reckon that Sugar Bowl is the big boss of the Bad V.F.D.

How can a boss be a sugar bowl? And beisdes, Lemony stole Esm'es sugarbowl and its an optional disguise.

Perhaps it's a bit like Verbal Fridge Dialogue...only messages are hidden inside the sugar bowl. That seems to be one of only a few popular theories you've overlooked...

Sugar Bowl could be a codename for a person or place.
So, Sugar Bowl = Hotel Denoument

I think Beatrice was framed for what Lemony did to Esme's sugar bowl.

ya, its gotta be just a sugar bowl. how could lemony steal hotel denoument? i dont fall for the "microphone in bowl" theory. it sounds kinda dull and lame. lemony probably thought of something more clever. i just thought (but doubt it) that maybe sugar bowls are "in"?. and maybe snicket wanted a piece of in things....i dont think so.

Sugar Bowl could be a codename for a person or place. So, Sugar Bowl = Hotel Denoument He does have a point. When he said that I think it was an example. It could mean something like plans for the future type stuff. You still will never know stuff like that unless you or someone find that information and you believe it, or you can always dicuss it and hope what your telling other people is true.

Did you get your personalized pic off my website, becaue I remember doing that pic (i recolered the original)?
Anyway, i cant be sure what the sugar bowl is, but I think that Esme just pointed fingers when she said that Beatrice stole it because, one, she obviously didnt like Beatrice too much, adn two, she is that ignorent and blaming and we all know it.i dont think Beatrice was framed. but rest assure the sugar bowl is important, and that perhaps esme was expecting a message or something.
