So you only pay attention to people who agree with your every whim?
Simply ignoring criticism won't make your flaws disappear.

Rip Van Winkle maybe I wouldnt ignore you if you werent so criticizing of me Well, I...I... I just can't think of anything to say to this. So I'll just quote Setnick. So you only pay attention to people who agree with your every whim? Simply ignoring criticism won't make your flaws disappear.

Giving criticism makes flaws disappear just as effectively.

lol are you serious?
edit: okay i didn't mean to sound horrible to jemima or pirahtee but judging applications by their length, even if only in part, is seriously the dumbest thing i've ever heard.

*sniggle* Did you even read all of the applications? Or just find the two longest ones and choose them? Also when you do that sort of thing you're not meant to tell everyone about it.

So let me get this right. You took the two longest applications and just chose them? Weren't you going to have a list of nominees? Like more than two
Jemima and Pirahtee are great people and kudos to them, but going on ADR's selection criteria, Pandora should be a finalist as well.

Eh? I assumed more than two people were going to be chosen, and also not on the basis that they can write more about themselves than other people...

See, other people thought it was a little weird too. I'm not a whiner.

Look OK I said it was the longest AND best because some were long and bad and others were short but just OK - obviously they put the most effort in to the writing. For once do yourself a favor and stop complaining and vote OK??

We're only complaining because you're doing things in an odd way that we can't understand your reasons for. It shouldn't just be about your thoughts on effort-you should be looking at actually what they wrote; their past experiences and not just how many words they can type. Also a bigger choice would be better.
Ah well, I can see you're never going to make YOUR effort to take anyone else's perspective into consideration. Whenever anyone points what you're doing wrong you snap at them and strike them for complaining. If you just listen to them and do your best to try and improve your decisions people will have a lot more respect for you.

Umm lets see... how about you just shut up? Whevever I try to do what you want polls applications, whatever, you just find something new to whine about dont you? The problem is that you're being very close-minded about it all. You're not listening to everything we have to say. You take little pieces of opinions and filter out a lot of the rest. We're not finding more things to whine about; they're the same things we were "whining about" before. Please ADR, just listen to your members' opinions. That's what we are now : Your members. There's many people who aren't happy with it, but insulting them in return won't make them like you any more. If you try to take criticism constructively rather than telling us to shut up, you'll be appreciated so much more. And if you're about to write something nasty in reply to this or roll your eyes at me, remember that I haven't been bashing you this past month. I've been trying so hard to give you a chance but now I need to speak up.
