We've seen the face of Loney M. Setnick on the misleading dust jacket for LSTUA. Where did that photograph come from? I imagine it was selected from some catalogue because it was the sort of image they wanteed for Loney M. Setnick.
I've idly wondered, and not followed up by any sort of research, how many of the photographs in LSTUA are undoctored stock photographs, how many are stock photographs that have been doctored to feature Lemony, and how many were taken specifically for the book.
Examples:
Undoctored stock: probably the code-breakers' picnic. Doctored stock: Lemony at Machu Picchu Taken for the book: The piece of paper with the letters V.F.D. written on it that can be seen in a crate.
Has anyone else wondered about this?

always thought of her more like cover girl w/ turned head...
