not sure whether this has been posted before but as I was flicking thru TUA yesterday I noticed this: if u turn to the page of th funny wizard woman and the old man (not sure which page...) on the opposite page it says: "in picture (A) is subject (B), in picture (C) is subject (B) but for the sake of this we'll call her (D)" or something like that? Do you think that the members of VFD could be in order..? Some people left, or arn't available to attend the meeting..? I know there's more than one of a letter, but this could just be a sort of hitch (read on...) of course the clue about book 11 could agree with this too: "Many Individuals have the same Initials which can lead to much injustice!" I mean if there were two M's then it COULD leave to misjustice...but who ARE M? I believe that we could go off characteristics from the VFD script but I'm not too sure.. What do you think? Do u understand?

I get what you're saying, but I think it could lead to a little too much injustice. They'd have to seek out new members based on names, not on ability, and it would ruin the point (I think). Although it's completely possible, as it looks like they made some bad choices of who to admit, anyway... And besides... in that example A and C are just pictures, Lemony isn't refering to anyone except B, really, so we don't have much to go on, there.

Isn't B like behind the truck, or something. There could be two O's... Olaf and Olivia. What am i saying, there WAS two O's. Right now i am thinking along the lines of 2 L's. Lemony is always saying that Olaf, not himself, lit all those fires, and he was framed for it. Olaf could have taked an alias starting with L, causing the mix-up. Or, Olaf's real name, or first or last could be L, or LS or even S. Or JS.

Well the only evidence Olivia is in VFD is that "whenever I see a paper floating by, I run after it--" And then in LSUA by an "anonymous" person, "Whenever I see a paper floating by, I run after it to see if it's one of my brother's papers." I'm thinking Lemony may be brother..............which would mean she is the snicket sister.........................but it's offtopic, so forget it.

There's an "Olivia" in TCC too, posing as a fortune teller. She just so happens to have a bunch of papers under her table... On page 196 there's a family tree and the initials go in order. You can also see a bit that says "C. Chas Snicket" and a V (?) that says "volunteering". So volunteering seems to run in the family.
