The only words I have heard are on this link: www.expage.com/asouetheories9Rumor is that Lemony Snicket is going to write more attachments to the A Series of Unfortunate Events series like Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography. As you all know, The Unauthorized Autobiography holds tons of valuable information. Maybe these attachments will be the same.
The attachments are supposedly Violet's diary, Klaus's journal, Duncan's Notebook after his murder, Isadora's notebook after her accidental death, and Count Olaf's plan book. I think that if they are to be made then they will probably have reversible covers like The Pony Party. Maybe like The Thrilling Teaparty, The Wonderful Waterpark, or The Fun Fountain... You know, stuff like that.... #2!, #3!, #4!, #5!, and #6! of The Luckiest Kids in the World series might be coming. Better be ready for more misery and hair loss!
But there is no proof that this information is accurate.

Hmmm... I'd read that before, but I don't think it was ever confirmed.

Snicket should announce the books better. all we know for certain is that there's gonna be 13 books in the series!

Any other author does better? We know there'll be seven Harry Potter books, but what else do you now about them?

He does announce his books. Sign up for Author Tracker on Lemonysnicket.com. Although it doesn't give you warning in advance. Example: March 16th: I went out and got the Blank Book. When I came home and checked my email, there was an email from authortracker saying that the blank book came out that day. It also notifys you of other merchandise and where DH will be in future months (book signings etc)

The Plain book sounds good- as does the Duncan and Isadora notebooks.

I heard that too, but it was totally different. I heard there's gonna be another autiobiography one, but it's gonna be called something like VFD manual. Something like that or other.

I heard about something called the "VFD Management Structure Leaflet", but I don't have any confirmation on that. Also, I doubt that the notebooks and diaries will be released, for the Quagmire notebooks were torn to shreds by a harpoon and therefore are rather hard to publish. Since the Baudelaires never kept diaries, those are also hard to publish.

The Olaf thing: weird. Wouldn't it have a better title, like "The Perilous Plans" or some such thing. That makes several items released in the September/October time period (The Grim Grotto, this thing, something else - the Calendar I think)

A lot of Snicket movie-related books are coming out in October. By then, the trailer will be all over the place and fans will be clogging up the entire internet saying "IM SO EXXCITED!!!!!!" (My apologies for making fun of how some people type.) All this Snicket merchandising worries me a bit. Merchandising ruined my appreciation for Harry Potter. One reason I like Snicket's books better is that they aren't as overmerchandised and are sort of a little cult phenomenon, at least for now. But this isn't the place to talk of merchandise.

the merchandising is sickening, but it shouldn't ruin the orginal genius of the books. the lord of the rings and harry potter are still great books despite the filth that is sold with their name on it.
