A few notes on Zombies in the Snow: 1. According to Mike Cuellar's Unofficial FAQ, the names "Gerta, Young Rolf, Dolores" anagram to "Gronor, get Olaf your sled". Think this is significant? Dicuss. 2. Do you think ZitS was filmed near the Mortmain Mountains? How would this have connections to The Slippery Slope? Discuss. 3. I think the survivor in the snowman was Beatrice Baudelaire. When the message to Monty failed, she went to the mountain headquarters and was forced to leave when the burning began. She may be at Hotel Denoument. What do you think? Discuss. Now that I'm done with my impression of an essay test, I'd like to say that I have an ongoing ambition to write a gory parody of Jingle Bells that goes "Zombies in the snow, it's you they're gonna slay...."

Was going to say it was like essay questions 1. What/Who's Groner? Gerta, Young Rolf, Dolores could also anagram to Onerous Olaf get log Rygd...The important thing is Onerous Olaf. 2. Perhaps. 3.As said before, snowmen are cold, and are good places to store fire survivors, as it's so cool. The same applies to fountains.

Gronor is supposedly a very old, obsolete name. I'll have to search for it. Just a minute.... It's a town name, and a name used in online roleplays somewhere. Mike's FAQ came up as well. Beatrice survived the Baudelaire fire and was hidden in the snowman. I think she'll die at the end of the series, which means that Lemony is writing all this long after it happened. Gustav Sebald(Monty's assistant) and his movie-making coworkers went to a lot of trouble to help the children find Beatrice, but it failed because Monty had never learned the code from Gustav, who had been sent to teach him. That's my theory.
