There's a story behind that site. Last fall, when you tried to access UnfortunateEvents.com, THEF came up. This led to a variety of paranoid Olaf-conspiracy speculation within various forums. However, UE.com came back after a while, but THEF.org stuck around, which was odd. We think it had to do with UE.com being repaired. Furthermore, I once tried to type in the URL of an image in UE.com, and mistyped it, and I was sent to THEF. So you see.

Honestly, I don't know what it means either. Try typing an invalid url in the UnfortunateEvents.com domain, such as unfortunateevents.com/e You get a page that redirects you to Thef.org after 10 seconds.

Those are the Lotsalucks. The way I see it--and you know this is going to be weird--they're like the alternative universe Baudelaires.

Are those British TV ads of "Read something else" related to that website?

Since the ads mention THEF, there's probably a connection. I wonder if Lemony made up THEF, or the Egmont book people did.

Are those British TV ads of "Read something else" related to that website? Huh? I'm British, and I've never seen an advert for aSoUE. Ever. Since the ads mention THEF, there's probably a connection. I wonder if Lemony made up THEF, or the Egmont book people did. Are you British, Tocuna? Or is there some website somewhere which shows these adverts?
