Ok, this is the thread in which you lot tell me what other popular book series you'd like to have, aside from HP and LOTR.
Once I've got enough suggestions, I'll make a poll, or something, and by then ADR can take the situation into her own hands.
Preferrably, suggest book series that aren't too obscure.

I thought you said "book series that aren't too obscene" and so I wanted to suggest something completely inappropriate. Then I reread your post. Never mind.
Uhh...I don't know. I don't think we really need separate boards for any series except Harry Potter, just because it has such a large/avid fanbase.

How about Pullman's "His Dark Materials"? I don't know how many people have read it but there is plenty to discuss since the books are densely packed with literary allusions and symbolism.

Yeah, I was htinking that. Didn't we have a board for that, a while ago? And Setnick, if no-one says anything, then that's clear indication that the people are content with what we have. So yeah.

The Narnia books are a unified series although I personally don't care for the sexism of them.

Inheritance Trilogy, maybe. If there are enough people who want it.

Yeah I'd support the Inheritance one ... they're good!
