Ok...so I'm doing my very best not to start ranting and yelling because the "who thinks ADR should step down as admin" thread seems to have been deleted.
Anyone care to own up, or even just comment? I'm pretty annoyed.
Logic suggest it was the admin herself, but it could easily have been Antenora, or any of the G-Mods or DDs. Maybe they wanted to frame her, and make her look bad, or something.
Or, you know, maybe ADR didn't want us discussing her being removed from power.

I didn't delete it; I felt it was a perfectly acceptable opinion poll sort of thing. So you're welcome to remake this poll, although it'd possibly go better in MMisc than here.
If we've got a DDeleter or GMod randomly deleting things, I wonder if it's the same one who was apparently removing GGames threads for no reason.

Whoever is doing all this random, anonymous deleting should be held accountable. I find it unacceptable to abuse their power by deleting threads without reason or explanation.

Since the DDs are being accused, I reckon that I should let you know I haven't been deleting anything (except when merging double posts). I haven't deleted any threads.

Doesn't ADR have the power to see who does all these things?

I haven't deleted anything in forever. Like, I mean, there haven't really been any recent attacks of spamming or anything, and when that's the case, I don't really have any reason to delete anything, and I don't. Basically, it ain't me.

Pirahtee has been complaining that someone has been deleting our threads. Maybe the same person is responsible. I say that someone makes a list of all the unexplained deletions. Maybe ADR can look to see who did it.

Was it just the "ADR should step down as admin" thread, or Pirahtee's threads in GGames too?
For me, I think a good rule of thumb is not to DELETE an entire thread, but to archive it if it is old, unneeded, etc. That way it is still available in the future if it's ever needed again.
If it is only one post that is offensive, delete that one post, or even edit it to remove the offensive language. There' usually no need to delete an entire thread.
And if you do feel a thread needs to be deleted, it usually can wait until the section mod is online. Send them a PM and let them delete it so they know what's going on.

No, no, don't be suspicious. I'm sure it was a perfectly harmless accident that the person with unlimited powers deleted a thread discussing her removal.

Sure. Could happen to anyone. I mean, the chance of the one thread she accidentally deletes being the one discussing her removal isn't that small, is it?
