Who's read this?
We're reading it in English 10 Honors as a "treat" for getting the highest grades as a class that the teacher has ever given. I'm about 50 pages into it.
It seems okay so far. Pretty interesting.

I've read about half of it. It's really good, but once you get to the midpoint you begin to wonder where it's going to end or what could possibly happen to make it interesting. Sorta falls into a lull... But 'twas good just the same

the Science Fiction Book club has a collected edition of Interview, Vampire Lestat, and Queen of the Damned one hardcover book for $14.
I love the first three, but I lost interest after Memnoch, now it looks like Anne is just writing some big Vampire/Mayfair storyline....she can have it.

Well, I saw the movie of it, does that count for anything? I started to read it, but for some reason it wasn't that interesting for me. I did read The Vampire Lestat, though, and enjoyed it.

I liked the first two books when I was younger. Then I realized it was all a bunch of pseudo-pretentious self-indulgent crap, but I still read a few more. It gets veeeeeerrrrrryyyyy dull when Lestat whines about how he wants to die but can't for three or four books straight. And oy, don't even try with the books about the witches. What a load of garbage.
