I love The Basic Eight. One of my all time favourite books.
I'm reading The Tiger in the Well by Phillip Pullman. Well I'm reading the series and I'm on The Tiger in the Well at the moment.

I make use of the school one, which is very good, but it hasn't got the amber spyglass. Ask them to order it. I'm reading Go Ask Alice and the third A-List book.

The Wish by Gail Carson Levine I loved that book. I am reading Blue Heron and The Man Who Was Poe by Avi, which are easy but interesting.

I just read the State of Fear by Micheal Crichton. Started slow, but was pretty cool. I also read The Monstrous Regiment by Terry Pratchet. Pretty cool, although I was surprised by the amount of crossdressing. I am reading Gene, a book about 2 guys who are enemies, and each is reincarnated 7 times, and they have to kill each other each time. Its kinda weird, but I expect they will explain it in the end. Also read a Sherlock Holmes called Valley of Fear. Wasn't that good.
