The Curious Incident is quite a good book. I personally thought that it was depressing. But it definitely hits an emotional nerve.
Currently reading: All Quiet On the Western Front Erich Maria Remarque The Man Who Was Thursday GK Chesterton The Virgin's Lover Philippa Gregory (got to have something a bit lighter...)

I have read the Looking Glass Wars (its great, it has my favorite character in it!) and The Book of Dead Days by Marcus Sedgewick. It's pretty cool. I will read the sequel, called the Dark Flight Down. I also plan to read: Will Buster and the Gelmet Helmet Around the World in 80 Days Tommorow when the War Began Ender's Game State of Fear by Micheal Crichton and I forget the rest.

I will read the sequel, called the Dark Flight Down. Yet another book where my parents won't buy it until it's out in paperback. Dark Flight Down, that is. I can't wait for that. The ending of The Book of Dead Days was somewhat rushed, though, as though the author woke up on the day of the deadline and discovered that he hadn't finished the last chapter yet.

Uh, do you have a library in your town?

Unfortunately, my town is broken up into smaller parts, so the nearest public library is in lyttleton, which is way to far to go more than once a month with my very busy parents. The other public libraries are afrikaans. I make use of the school one, which is very good, but it hasn't got the amber spyglass.
