**LETS SEE IF W/A NEW NAME SOMEONE REPLIES** Since I'm going to apply to Bachelor of Design I need to do 20~25 artworks. So I decided to post some here by now I only have one made w/watercolors: www.angelfire.com/art2/stupidportfolioI can't think of a proper name for it; so, if you want to suggest something it would be great. Also you can suggest other ideas because currently I'm suffering of 'Artist Block'.

Ugh. I hate hate hate artist's block. But this looks wonderful, anyway, Dark.
As for a title, what kind of flower is this based on? A lily? An Iris? You could name her after the flower...
I like the bleeded watercoloury look near the eyes. It makes it very dramatic. Also, I like how the face tone matches the tone of the flower. It's great!
Note to self: do not be too much of a fangirl

I think you should name it La Beatrice...

Thanks Negativenine, I guess I'll name it 'lily' although I have no idea what kind of flower it is. There's now another drawing, also watercolor. Before start posting opinions let me tell you that it's a self-portrait, I know it's not very good and that it looks like a girl.

I can see how parts of it look like you: lips and hair and prettiness... but different sorts of prettiness... meh. I think I screwed up what I was trying to say. Anyway, it did turn out a little feminine, didn't it? It might be the face shape, but don't ask me...
Anyway, it still looks awesome! When do you have to have all your artwork finished by?

Yes, and I have no idea of what to draw and what techniques, all I can have by now are watercolors, colored pencils and white, pink and blue charcoals to use the in a black paper pad.

No, I do have white paper but I like how white drawings look in black paper. Kind of inverted style.

I can draw whatever I want, and the woman who gave that information adviced me to do some still lifes. But I hate still lifes, there's nothing more boring than that. I know about those women w/fruit hats that you are talking about, but they aren't mexican I guess somewhere else from latinamerica.

Yeah, that sounds good. The only other idea I have now is little drawing on the same page of parts of a female body. White on black, w/pink and blue. Doing an eye, the lips, a breast, etc.

Ah yes, very lovely drawings. I know it's past the deadline. What is the finished product like?
Oh yeah, I tried making a mathcup of your face, with those photos you posted somewhere. I failed, but only becuase I don't feel like finishing it tonight... I'll do it another day.

Why is it so surprising that I'm 18?
And I haven't finished my prtfolio, I only have like other two drawings I'll post them later.

Blast these months! I thought you said March.. Okay. And it's surprising because (A) you look younger (B) I jsut pictured you a 14/15 grunge kid, (C) Dunno, just never would have guessed. Oh, and don't take that interpretation in any sort of way. As it turns out, my interpretations are always wrong. But I can do this: I need a sign that says Colton is Always Wrong. ^_^ I'll make one later...
