Oh...I died.... I wish i'd have put up more of a fight. It's sad to think that I died because of Char's clumsy feet..... Stupid feet. (kicks dust) On another hand, how DID Ennui survive? I smell a conspiracy.... And now that i'm dead, what will you do? There is no one to save you all? except Dante, Antenora, Amber and Ennui You better not be stingy with the funeral costs.... Oh well, i'm a double-corpse now. Please do continue. Things are coming to a head. Who will be shot? Ennui? Amber? Char? Dante? Antenora? I'm sure Ennui will be shot, but an incredibly fat poetry book will save him.

I had an orange parachute. I must have stolen it, since I'd never have bought it...I'm terrified of falling from massive heights...

Longest one so far, and a bit ofan anticlimax as far as I am concerned.
Eh.
Ashley stopped, she was in the middle of nowhere and didn’t like it, and she was also on her own. She started humming to stop her getting too paranoid but she thought, “What if Char is just around that corner?” And she convinced herself she could hear footsteps so she stopped. She was so scared that she looked away, and wondered how far back the rest were. She also wondered how far ahead Dante was. She was staring at the floor when she heard a voice call her name. “Ashley?” She looked up. And then straight back down again when she saw it was a female. “Char” she thought. She had thought it out loud. “No Ashley it’s not Char” Called a voice Ashley recognized to be Dante’s. Ashley dared to look up, she saw Dante ahead of her with someone she thought to be Antenora. “Who are you with?” She called out to Dante. “Antenora.” He replied, glancing at the girl to his left and smiling. Ashley called out to them once again. “Have you seen Char?” “No, she must be behind you somewhere.” They called back. “B...but Amber, Ennui and PJ are behind me,” her voice shook. “Then, we’d better hurry up.” Antenora called as she and Dante ran towards Ashley. They reached her and they set off in a fast walk back the way Ashley had come. “How far behind you were they?” Antenora asked, all traces of shyness rushed away in the urgency of the situation. “Umm, I don’t know, they could have stopped, but they aren’t in sight.” Ashley said. “We should start walking faster then” Dante said and they started running quite fast. Ennui and Amber were stood side by side as Char slowly approached them, she was smiling a smile that clearly said that she was enjoying every minute of what she was doing. “You didn’t answer my question.” She said. Impatiently. She repeated, although she didn’t need to. “Who next?” She smiled as a plan formed in her mind. “I’m going to make you choose, she said, grinning. “But first we are going back the airport.” She said. “Why?” Amber said, “Because anyone could drive past here,” “But airports are much busier.” Ennui said, confused. “You’ll do what I say.” Char threatened. “Fine” Amber sighed, “Let’s go then.” Char said walking off. “And don’t think of running away, the land is flat around here and I could see you for miles.” “Ok,” Ennui said. He looked at Amber and was pointing in the general direction of a tree. Amber nodded. As Dante, Antenora and Ashley ran they caught sight of three figures walking away from them. One was leading the way, and the other two were walking behind. “Look” Ashley said, but the others had already noticed. They turned and Shhh’d her. “If Char hears us we are going to be in trouble.” Antenora whispered. “Yeah, and if it’s all your fault…” Dante trailed off threateningly “Ok.” Ashley said as she breathed. Amber and Ennui were swerving to the left behind Char, towards a large green tree they had to keep totally silent as they sat behind the tree. “It’s probably safer if we sit in the tree.” Ennui said under his breath. Amber stood up and started to climb silently, which was very difficult. A few minutes later they were both sat on a high up branch of the tree. There was a gap in the leaves so they could see out. “Char hasn’t noticed we’re gone” Amber said and laughed quietly. “A clever kidnapper would have walked behind us” Ennui laughed too. “Look over there” Amber pointed and would have fallen out of the tree had Ennui not grabbed her arm. “Careful” He said as she dusted herself off. “I would have thought I would be the one falling off,” He mumbled, “Just don’t look down” She said, commenting on his fear of high places. “Ok. Is that Dante?” He said. “Unless there is another teenage boy with long red hair walking round, I think we can be pretty sure it is.” Amber replied. “Who’s he with, I know that’s Ashley but the other one…” He leant forward, and this time it was Amber that had to catch Ennui as he started to fall. “You ok?” she asked. “I suppose” He said, shaking slightly, but tried to disguise it by brushing off the twigs from his shoulders. “They’re coming over here” Amber said, surprised. “And Char’s noticed we’re gone.” Ennui was looking in the other direction. “Char’s seen them.” He said. “Only Ashley though, Dante and Antenora are in the tree, well it is a big tree.” Amber continued with their commentary. “She’s coming over here.” “She hasn’t seen Char.” “Quick get something to drop on Char.” “Like what, all I’ve got on me is my jacket, and that would just signal that we are here.” A new voice joined the commentary. “Char,” It was calling her. “What the devil is Dante doing?” Ennui recognised the voice. “I don’t know, but she’s noticed them, not us though.” Amber replied quietly. There was a great thud and then a gunshot and a wail not to mention Dante laughing. Ennui was clutching his arm, the bullet might have missed Dante but had gone through his shoulder and he was bleeding. “Ouch, that hurt” he said, stressing the last two words in Dante’s direction. A few seconds later Dante, Antenora and Ashley appeared. Amber had taken off her jacket and was using it to stem the blood flow on Ennui’s shoulder. “That’ll do, for now” he said, “You look really pale,” Amber was fretting. “Do you want my coat?” Dante offered. “Only if you aren’t using it.” He replied. Seconds later he had Dante’s coat draped over his shoulders, Ashley’s gloves on his hands and Antenora’s scarf wrapped around his shoulder. “Where did Char get to?” Amber asked, peering out of the tree. “Oh, her,” Antenora started “we, well Dante,” She shot him a look of admiration “dropped this rock on her, it his her head, she is out cold at the bottom of the tree. “We’d better check to see if she is still there.” Ashley said. They climbed out of the tree and she was still there, not unconscious, she was sat up waiting for them. “Well well well, what a surprise.” She said menacingly “You two never answered my question” She looked at Ennui and Amber “If you hadn’t noticed there are more of us” Dante said, through his clenched teeth. “Yes, but I am more evil.” She replied. “Oh, are you?” Dante said

Not anticlimactic...hilarious. And I loved my vertigo coming to the fore... Thanks. I had the bit about the tree and then remembered that you are not on the best of terms with high places.

Does Char have a secret agenda about the airport, or is she just completely insane?

Does Char have a secret agenda about the airport, or is she just completely insane? That would be telling. I don't know yet.
