Errr... I know this is me being horrible to my group, but Phoenix didn't post a poem, so because of that, I vote her out. I'm sorry, Phoenix... I would have very much liked to see your writing.

Yeah, no hard feelings Mamba, I didn't expect to last long, being an ameture at this and all. No-one to blame but myself. *Shrugs* I was a way for a week, because I was at my dad's for the school holidays. Well, despite my absence, I came up with this yesterday in English (I did another eight in about an hour & a half, today.) It's title is 'Today', and I wish the best of luck to the other contestants, including Orangey & Intelluect.
Loved the poem, Amber, brilliant. Great repitition, Soi.
Today
By Phoenix
Lose your fear in the poetry, Find your dreams & ambitions. Live your life in the present. Live today...
Her runners squeak like mice, As she stalks the side walk. Head down, dark hair over her face, Her eyes are down cast, jacket pulled tight.
She walks on in this manner, Until she reaches the edge of the library. Her dark eyes flicker up, As she creaks open the door.
She steps into the warmth, Shedding her jacket like a malting cat. Leaving the cold world, With it's harsh black & white, behind.
She blends in, & they don't notice her, She sinks behind a couch, listening. Soon his voice is heard, hypnotising her, His voice is deep & warm, chanting poems rhythmically.
She closes her eyes, Letting the stanzas rip right through her. Then his voice trails away, & she's back, Feeling refreshed, rejuvenated & alive.
She's faithful, present every day, Just to hear his voice. She's been attending for months, Losing herself, & her worries, in the poems.
She always kept to the shadows, Watching from afar. If they had acknowledged her, They didn't express it.
Today they saw her, & Invited her to join them. She crouched, dumbfounded & frozen. Watching their mouths.
She plucked up the will to nod, & Entered the semi-circle of pillows. The Poets' Corner, she was finally a part, Of it all.
Suddenly the blacks, whites, & Shades of grey, faded out. Everything became vivid, Glamorous & alive. Finally she was a part of something. & It was happening right now. It was happening today.

Is the spacing of the people any indication as to how well they did? Because that means I just scraped by. Just curious.

Wait a darn second, Phoenix isn't out yet. The contestants must make their vote. Whoever has the most votes to leave will go tomorrow.
And Mamba's vote doesn't count as a contestant's vote, the judges vote has already happened.

Is the spacing of the people who made it any indication as to how good they where?

Yes, but can you answer my question above? Is the spacing of the people who made it any indication as to how good they where? If it is that means I came third. Squee ;D. Can't be then. Does the next round have a theme? When does it start?

After only one contestant vote, the person leaving the competition this week is....
ORANGEY TWIXET
You've done so well, don't feel ashamed. Well done (:
As for the others, you must participate in the next round, which theme means you have to write a song or a poem about an emotion, or emotions in general. Good luck!

Congratulations, Phoenix. I'm glad you got through; your poem was much better than mine.
Congratulations to everyone else, as well.

Dash, are you going to answer my question? Or do I have to PM? Does the order in which our names where given have anything to do with how well we did? Please answer me.

You make PJ cry... Oh wait, are you answering my question? Or are you refusing to answer me?

You make PJ cry... Oh wait, are you answering my question? Or are you refusing to answer me? The order was random.
