Thanks for all the compliments, everyone ^_^
On to chapter four...

Celinra slowly opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was James checking his watch: It was now 1:30 PM. She lifted her hand to her head, to see if there was any sign of injury.
“It looks fine,” James said, without looking up. “You still haven’t made the call.” Celinra put her head in her hands for a moment, trying to clear her head. “You carry aspirin in your pocket, right?” He shoved a bottle of water in front of her. “Take a couple, and let’s get on with this.”
She did what he said, and picked up her cell phone, still feeling a bit woozy. She dialed Pandora’s number. “Hello?”
“Hi, Pan…”
“Celly! What’s up?” asked Pandora, not suspecting anything. Suddenly, she heard a loud beep. “What was that?”
“Nothing, I just accidentally pressed a button. Listen, I need you to do something…” As she said this, she realized there was a button she should press on purpose. Glancing to James, and seeing that he was looking around to make sure no one else was listening in, she slid her finger up and pushed the power button. With her phone disconnected, she continued calmly. “I had to schedule an emergency press conference for you. You have to get ready fast, because it’s in about 45 minutes…”
Nearby, the woman from the bus station heard her talking on the phone, and started talking about stories she’d heard. “Once, a friend of a friend of mine was on a train, and sat by a person who was on the phone the whole time. An emergency happened to someone, and they asked to use this person’s phone… and it turned out it was fake, and he’d just been talking the whole time so people thought he was important.”
Hearing this, James realized what might be going on. He grabbed Celinra’s phone away from her. “Hello?” he asked into it. “Anyone there?” Celinra turned towards the window. “And to think you almost pulled it off that time. You must really be having fun putting your brother’s life at risk.”
Meanwhile, Derik went outside to get the mail. As he did, he noticed someone in a car looking at him, but he thought little of it. He figured it was probably just because he was singing at the top of his lungs. Unconcerned, he went back inside.
At the same time, Pandora was relaxing in the Miscellaneous building, a building where people went to just talk about nothing in particular and relax. She was surrounded by others involved in her campaign. Her running mate, Charlotte, was sitting next to her. Some of her supporters, such as Scam, Betsy, and Taylor, were sitting nearby, as well. They wondered how everything would go for them, and how the election would work out.
