Just because you've gotten raped, you get to murder some one? OMG LOL OGM LOL I SHOULD GET RAPED SO I CAN GO ON A KILLING SPREE!!!!!!!! OMG LOL =_= Shut up. The fetus isn't even a fully conscious being. "Killing it" would do a favor both to it and the mother. Can you imagine what it would be like to be the product of such a terrible event? And what about the mother, being reminded of it every time she looks at her kid.

This rape argument is a really difficult one, mainly because I can't fully and completely make up my mind.
Girls on this forum -and guys too, if you can stretch your imaginations- take this into consideration. What if YOU were the person raped and made pregnant? I, for one, am very ambitious, and if I had a baby I'd have to perhaps drop out of school, maybe get a job to help pay for the baby, find babysitters, and maybe find some time to have a social life. Plus, all my family and friends would be affected. I'm learning a lot in school, and I'm very grateful to have an education, because so many of the things interest me, and they're great preparation for the job I'd like to get someday. The coming of a baby, added with the emotional trauma that comes from rape, added with the cost, added with the family's inconveniences, added with the school and future job, added with plenty of other stuff...
Sorry for sounding childish... but that's not fair in the least. It could happen to any woman, at any time, at any point in their lives.
Of course I don't think that killing a prospective life is a good thing, but in this case it seems that perhaps it might be the thing to do.
I know this is a little off-topic, but there's a school somewhere for teenage girls who have babies but still want to finish high school. The girls are allowed to bring their children to school as they learn. What do you all think about this?

No. We shouldn't be penalized for suicide. We're already dead.

Well, if you attempt suicide you're punished. You're labeled, that goes down in your records.. you can be turned down for jobs, and what not. My grandmother tried to kill herself like a long time ago, and now she can't make decisions on her own. If she were on life support it wouldn't be her decisions to the pull the plug-- it'd be my grandfather's. Now my grandmother is crazy but she is able to make choices, and she has her moments but since she is labeled "crazy" she doesn't get a choice when it comes to her body. And if you do happen to be successful your family is punished. Not just in losing you-- but suicide isn't covered in life insurance. Alright, if course those things come with attempted suicide. You're unstable, people can't trust you. But to put away a life that never even existed? That's not murder. That's not an unstable act.

But to put away a life that never even existed? That's not murder. That's not an unstable act. You're right. It's worse. Humans are greedy, selfish pigs who have screwed up so much of their life.... the unborn have never done anything wrong. They've never even had the chance.

Note to self, never say "SO HA!" in front of M... M, you could say the same thing about yourself. And who said all abortions happen in the early, early stages, when a fetus doesn't have a conscience? SO HA! Hm? Hm?!?

Anyways, what about illegal drugs? If I want to get high and destroy my body why is that illegal? I don't even have a baby inside of me, and I'm not harming anyone just myself. Why should we stop and try to correct people with eating disorders? If they want to puke their lunch up-- should we allow it? Yes. It shouldn't be illegal. It should just go down on a record so that everyone knows. Then you just die because you can't get a job and you would deserve it.

"It's not a war on drugs, it's a war on personal freedom is what it is, ok? Keep that in mind at all times, thank you."

You can not just abort the baby anytime you please-- there is a certain timeframe. If the fetus is in a certain stage it is considered murder. If you're eight months into the pregnancy and decide you don't want the baby anymore-- too bad. That's not legal, and you no longer have the choice. Of course, I agree that something like an abortion after like 7-months should be illegal. But long before that? I see nothing wrong.
