Ok, we all know that ½ the bad drivers out thier are old. (The rest are new yorkers, *Sniker snicker* It was a joke! Don't kill me!) In my opinion i think drivers should renew thier lincess by a certain age, say 70. Think how much safer the roads would be!

Bostonians are generally regarded to be worse drivers, actually. New York has less bad drtivers because if you screw up, you get shot a lot quicker.

I heard Miami's actually the worst.
I definitely think people should re-take the driver test every couple decades or so... they need new license pictures anyway, why not re-take it?
Though there's the issue of money and people willing to be the driving testers.

I agree with Swans. Seniors should have to take vision tests in order to get their licenses renewed. There are some pretty bad drivers in my town, and many of them seem to be teens. Stricter driving instruction tests are also a good idea.

My grandfather is 80, and he still drives.
Although I think that licences should be revoked at a certain age...I think here, if you are over 80 and still driving, you have to take a driver's test every year.

I agree with both Mamba and swans.
I know some terrible young drivers and I have no idea HOW they passed their tests. I make a point of driving with them as little as possible. But there are a lot of them, and it's a pretty big problem.
I agree with Mamba that every once in a while (10, 20 years?) drivers should have to re-take their tests, just to make sure that they're still up to scratch. Still, this would mean a lot more money for SGI...
Edit: And by SGI, I mean whoever is controlling your driving-thinger.

I think alot of teens behave duing the test and when they get thier lincess they go all out. I don't know if it will help if the instuctors are more stricted, but it's worth a try.
