Fantastic episode in terms of characterisation. I also fancy that the Leadworth plotline was a bit of a pastiche of standard episodes.

They both were essentially, the other being a kind of cold 42.
But they were both done well, as well as the plot overruling both scenarios. DREAM LORD!

I need to re-watch. I'm not sure how I feel about it.
Lots of funny lines as usual and Matt Smith was brilliant as usual and Amy was great, especially at the Rory dying part. That was done so well and convincingly! It needs a re-watch though. I thought that guy in the van looked like David Tennant a bit!
We need to talk Sam!

I just got a sonic screwdriver app for my iPhone. It makes me really happy to hold it in front of doors and stuff.

Last night's episode was quite sweet, and a lot of fun all-round. The finale's looking like one of Moffat's trademark bafflefests, too, which is great.

trademark from when? his RTD era episodes? Coupling? Press gang?
Actually, some of the set ups in the coupling series finales were pretty awesome. (and almost all of press gang was pretty awesome also)
Chalk was pretty cra p

The sequence with the ruined Cyberman was proof that, with villains, less is more. That was probably the most original and scary use of a Cyberman in the new series... although since they've only been in three other stories, that's not hard.
Any guesses as to who the voice is? I have an idea as to who it might be, but since 667 doesn't have spoiler boxes...
