Invisible: Is Kit not short for anything? It just sounds really weird to me when it's used in a full name.

Nope. Kit just means Kit.

I just have this beef about nicknames being used as real names.

I'm doing Justice Kathy Strauss and Jerome Squalor, at some point before they tie the knot.
What is your full name?
Jerome: Jerome Arthur Squalor Kathy: Katherine Theresa Strauss
What is your birth date?
Jerome: I was born on March 1 of 1938. Kathy: I was born on July 15 of 1938.
How old are you currently?
Jerome: I'm 44 years old. (The year is 1982). Kathy: And I just turned 44.
What is your hair and eye colour?
Jerome: I have black hair and blue eyes. Kathy: I have brown hair and blue eyes.
How tall are you?
Jerome: I'm 6' 1'' tall. Kathy: And I'm 5' 8'' tall.
Do you have a significant other? If so, who?
Jerome: Yeap, Kathy over here. *place arm around Kathy* Kathy: My Jerome-rome.
What is your favourite genre of music? Also, what is your favourite artist or band?
Jerome: I like early rock and roll, but not so much the new stuff. Kathy: The same here. I also like jazz and swing. I have a soft spot for Simon and Garfunkel. Jerome: They're a good duo. I also like Chuck Berry. Kathy: Yeah, can't forget about good ol' Chuck. He's legendary, perhaps even more so than Elvis. Jerome: Although, Elvis is good. Kathy: True.
Do you like Led Zeppelin? If so, what is your favourite song by them?
Jerome: No, they're not my cup of tea. I'm not into the noisy type of rock. Kathy: Same with me. To me, the best rock and roll came out in the '50s.
Do you like Foo Fighters? If so, what is your favourite song by them?
Jerome: I've never heard of them - but I'm going to guess, from their name, that they are a hard rock band. Kathy: Same here. I don't like noisy music.
What is your favourite number?
Jerome: Hm, I never thought of having a favourite number. I guess I'd go with three. Something seems magical about the number. Kathy: I prefer the number five. It's just a very nice number.
What is your favourite word?
Jerome: Again, I never really thought of having favourite words. I guess I like the word "love". It's a wonderful feeling. Kathy: Mine would have to be "justice". It's been my favourite word since I was a little girl. That's part of why I decided to get into law. We need justice.
Do you like your name?
Jerome: I used to not like my last name, as some of my peers used to make fun of it. I have since then, though, really come to appreciate my family heritage - and I am close to my father. Kathy: Sometimes, I thought of legally changing my first name to Justice - since I have known some women with that name. However, I have since come to appreciate my given name more - and I'm happy enough having "Justice" as my title.
Have you ever wanted to change your name? Or did you?
Jerome: When I was a little boy, I wanted to change my last name to "Walker" - because I liked to walk. I've since gotten over it, though. Kathy: Yes, as I previously mentioned. As it stands, I still have my birth name. However, when I marry Jerome, I do plan on taking his last name. So that's that.
Do you like the word "harmony"?
Jerome: Well, I like what the word means - but I never really thought of liking words, before. Kathy: It is a beautiful word. It ranks right up there with "justice".
Do you prefer sweet or savoury?
Jerome: It's hard for me to decide. I don't think I could live on only one of them, though. I need both. Kathy: Right, the same here - although, savoury takes a slight edge. I love marinara sauce, where you sort of get sweet and savoury both at once.
Are you a chocolate lover?
Jerome: Definitely! It's one of my biggest weakness. I never liked white milk - and I'm so glad that white milk was never "in", when I was still married to Esme. But with chocolate milk, I can really down those! Kathy: Who doesn't? Well, okay, I guess there are a few people who don't like chocolate - but it's hard for me to imagine it.
Do you like fish or chicken - or both?
Jerome: I like both, as long as it's not salmon. I'm not much of a tuna person, either. Beer-battered cod, though - I like. And, yes, I love fried chicken! Kathy: I'm not too big of a fish person, but I love chicken - and just about any dish that contains chicken.
Have you ever had a grasshopper or a mint shake? If so, do you like them?
Jerome: I've had grasshoppers, a few times - but I find that mint shakes taste just as good. So I'd rather go for the non-alcoholic stuff. Kathy: Same here! Some claim that non-alcoholic mint shakes don't taste as good, but I beg to differ.
Are your feet ticklish?
Jerome: I remember when my feet used to be very ticklish, although I never had them relentlessly tickled - but I don't think my feet are as ticklish as they used to be. Kathy: I haven't had my feet tickled in years, but I remember that they used to be very ticklish. I don't know if they still are. Jerome: *smirking* Should I test them, now? Kathy: *grimaces* Please, Jerome, later!
Do you prefer picnics or barbecues?
Jerome: I don't have a preference. Kathy: I'm a little more of a picnic person, although I do also like barbecues.
Would your idea of pleasure be doing something that is quiet and relaxing or doing something that is noisy and adrenaline-inducing?
Jerome: I don't care, as long as I'm with my Kathy. Kathy: As long as I'm with my Jerome-rome, either is fine.
What would be your idea of a personal heaven?
Jerome: Kathy, me, and five kids. Kathy: Oh, I don't know if I'd go with that many kids. Jerome: All right, fine. Two, then. Kathy: That'll probably work - and no mansion fires. Jerome: The end of the villainous VFD half. Kathy: *sighing* You can say that, again! Jerome: The end of the villainous VFD half. Kathy: I didn't mean literally, but... *plants kiss on Jerome's mouth*

Invisible: Your version of R is so adorable; even on her meds, she's still quite hyperactive, isn't she? Also, why doesn't she want anyone to know how tall she is? And Lemony has a ticklish stomach! So. Freakin'. CUTE. ;D @very Funky Disco: Your Kathy's nickname for Jerome is so close to my Esme's for him (Jeromey-rome). ^^ I liked how Kathy knew she wanted to be a judge ever since childhood. I can just imagine her dressing up as one for Halloween, and carrying around a little plastic gaval. I can relate to her dislike of her name, when she was younger. I have the same name IRL, and really disliked it until my mid to late teens. Poor Jerome, getting teased because of his last name! It's the same with my Jerome, though it only occurred because he saw some kids on the playground misbehaving, and felt he should report it to the monitor. After that, a lot of the kids started calling him "Jerome Squaler". Dawww. They really are TOO CUTE. ;D Jerome's echo of that phrase sounds like something the one of my ficverse would do. All the more reason why I feel they'd get on well as friends.

That's 'cause I can't decide how tall she should be XD I love R. She's just so CRAZY! She's going to make an appearance in ASORE and she will do something incredibly nutty for Lemony's birthday. I just need to write it His secret shame XD

That's 'cause I can't decide how tall she should be XD Ah, okay. I thought perhaps she was short and didn't want to admit it. She is, and I just love the way you've developed her character. I look forward to seeing what sort of craziness that she - and you - have planned for Lemony's birthday. ;D We all have 'em.

I'll do Marty and Artie McFly of Opening Up Universe next. It'll probably be set at some point after the RPG (however long as it might take to finish it).
What is your full name?
Marty: Martin Seamus McFly Artie: Arthur William McFly
What is your birth date?
Marty: I was born on June 20 of 1968. Artie: Same here. We're twins.
How old are you currently?
Marty: I'm seventeen years old. Artie: I'm two minutes older than Marty. (They'll probably never go on separate time travel adventures.)
What is your hair and eye colour?
Marty: I have medium brown hair and slate-blue eyes. Artie: As do I, since we're twins.
How tall are you?
Marty: I'm 5' 4'' tall. Artie: Same here. Once again, we're twins.
Do you have a significant other? If so, who?
Marty: My dearest Jennifer Jane Parker. Artie: I don't have anyone, yet.
What is your favourite genre of music? Also, what is your favourite artist or band?
Marty: Just about anything rock and roll. I love Huey Lewis and The News, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, and Very Fine Dudes. Artie: I love all types of music. Rock and roll is nice - but I'm not obsessed with like, like Marty is! Marty: Hey! I am not obsessed! Artie: Yes, you are! Marty: No, I'm not. Artie: Sure, whatever you say. Marty: I'm not obsessed.
Do you like Led Zeppelin? If so, what is your favourite song by them?
Marty: Yeap. Mine are a toss-up between Back Dog, Out On the Tiles, and Nobody's Fault But Mine. Artie: I do, too. I really like The Battle of Evermore.
Do you like Foo Fighters? If so, what is your favourite song by them?
Marty: They're a rock band from the future, right? I heard a little bit of them, when we travelled to the year 2005. Artie: Yeah, they're not half bad. Marty: I really liked the one song, called Everlong. I also enjoyed I'll Stick Around and This Is a Call. Next time we go to the future, we should purchase one of their albums. Artie: Well, that might be a little risky to the space-time continuum. Marty: Not if we just keep the music to ourselves. Artie: Well, you do make a good point.
What is your favourite number?
Marty: For some reason, I always liked the number four. I'm not sure why, exactly. Artie: I like the number three. It just seems like a powerful number.
What is your favourite word?
Marty: I like the word "passion". I have passion for a lot of things. Artie: Mine would be "touchdown". I'm a huge football fan.
Do you like your name?
Marty: Yeah, I don't mind it - and I always found my last name to be quite distinguished. Artie: Same here. I'm not particularly attached to my first name, but I don't mind it.
Have you ever wanted to change your name? Or did you?
Marty: No, I can't say that I ever did. Artie: Me, either.
Do you like the word "harmony"?
Marty: Yes! This world could certainly use more of it. Artie: Well, yeah. Who doesn't? Marty: Well, I'm sure that Count Biff doesn't. Artie: Oh, right. Good point!
Do you prefer sweet or savoury?
Marty: That's a tough one. I do have very much of a sweet tooth - but, then again, I can't imagine thriving on only sweets. Artie: Well, it wouldn't be very healthy for you. I do like sweets, on occasion - but I'm more of a steak and potatoes kind of person.
Are you a chocolate lover?
Marty: Oh, yes! Most definitely! Artie: Well, I do like chocolate - but I don't eat it all the time. Marty: Neither do I. Artie: Oh, really? Then why do you always have chocolate stashed in your room? Marty: Well, I don't eat it all the time.
Do you like fish or chicken - or both?
Marty: Both, but beer-battered cod gets the edge. Artie: I'm in agreement with Marty on this one - but, unlike him, I don't douse it all in tarter sauce. Marty: Hey! Artie: Well, it's true. You do. Marty: Fine, whatever.
Have you ever had a grasshopper or a mint shake? If so, do you like them?
Marty: I'm a little afraid to try alcohol, but I love mint shakes. Artie: I had a grasshopper, once. I think they're a little better than mint shakes. Marty: Well, does it have an alcohol taste to it. Artie: No, it doesn't - and there isn't even as much alcohol in it. Marty: Then why not just have a non-alcoholic mint shake? Artie: Because they don't taste as good. Marty: Ah, okay.
Are your feet ticklish?
Marty: Oh, yes, very much so! It's the one place I cannot stand to be tickled. I don't even let Jennifer tickle me there. Artie: I concur. Even just ten seconds is too much to take. Marty: Never mind ten seconds. Five seconds is too much. Artie: One second is too much. Marty: Well, I'm sure you get the idea.
Do you prefer picnics or barbecues?
Marty: I like nice romantic picnics with Jennifer, but barbecues are also awesome! Artie: Definitely barbecues!
Would your idea of pleasure be doing something that is quiet and relaxing or doing something that is noisy and adrenaline-inducing?
Marty: It depends on the mood I'm in. Artie: Yeah, same here.
What would be your idea of a personal heaven?
Marty: Jennifer and I at the lake, lying underneath the stars. I did that just a week ago. Artie: Attending a football game.

Marty and Artie are such an amusing pair! I can see from their interaction together that Artie is the instigator, what with the way he teased Marty about being "obsessed" with rock and roll, and about covering his beer-battered cod in tarter sauce. Hmm...I have a feeling that Artie would be quite prone to trouble while traveling through the future with his brother and Doc. ;D
Btw, I'll be posting in our RP later today. I just didn't want you to think I'd forgotten.

Aww, that was cute! Klaus and Colette certainly seem to be a compatible - and amusing - couple. I thought it was funny the way his schoolmates all called him "Santa-Klaus", even though it was less than funny for him.
