violet Marie: It was fun to read an interview with both Scwartzkopf twins. Hannah has the same middle name as me! Also, that hot cocoa recipe sounds mighty tasty. : 9 colette: I can see Esme being a fan of adrenaline-inducing activities, considering her little tobogganing exploit in TSS. I also love the way she answered the "harmony" question.

Now I'm going to do Emily Quagmire. That's right, she's the little girl that we know for over a decade before she was born. She has now existed in the physical realm for a little over 14 years. The year is 2011 (current year).
What is your full name? Emily Francine Quagmire
What is your birth date? April 18, 1997
How old are you currently? I'm 14 years old.
What is your hair and eye colour? I have blondish-blue hair and slate blue eyes.
How tall are you? I'm 5' 2'' tall.
Do you have a significant other? If so, who? Not yet. I have plenty of guy friends, but I'm not romantically involved with anyone.
What is your favourite genre of music? Also, what is your favourite artist or band? Oh, I just just about anything rock or metal - although, some of the more extreme metal that Bertie and Bea listen to is a bit too heavy for me. I'll go as loud as Pantera, though. Currently, my favourite band is Avenged Sevenfold.
Do you like Led Zeppelin? If so, what is your favourite song by them? Oh, most definitely! I think my favourite song by them would be Nobody's Fault But Mine.
Do you like Foo Fighters? If so, what is your favourite song by them? They also rock - at least, the stuff that's not acoustic. Mine are a toss-up between Breakout and I'll Stick Around.
What is your favourite number? I've always been partial towards the number four, for some reason.
What is your favourite word? Do band names count? I love the name "Pantera", a lot. I also like the name "Avenged Sevenfold", but that's two words.
Do you like your name? Oh, yes!
Have you ever wanted to change your name? Or did you? Nope, never thought of changing my name. I may or may not take my husband's last name, when I marry. It depends on what the last name is.
Do you like the word "harmony"? Oh, yeah, that's a great word.
Do you prefer sweet or savoury? I definitely do have a bit of a sweet tooth, but I also like savoury. I find tangy-sweet, such as marinara sauce, to be savoury.
Are you a chocolate lover? You bet! I can't imagine not liking chocolate. Although, I'm not too fond of German chocolate - but I think it's the coconuts I don't like.
Do you like fish or chicken - or both? Beer-battered cod or fried chicken? It's hard to decide. That said, I think Casey's Chicken is much better than KFC!
Have you ever had a grasshopper or a mint shake? If so, do you like them? I've had mint shakes before. Say what you will about McDonald's, but I really love their shamrock shakes. I wish McDonald's would serve them year round.
Are your feet ticklish? Oh, goodness, yes! My feet are so extremely ticklish, which I think I inherited from both of my parents. Sometimes, Mom likes to tickle the soles of my feet as punishment for bad behaviour.
Do you prefer picnics or barbecues? I like barbecues a little more. I prefer for my food to be hot.
Would your idea of pleasure be doing something that is quiet and relaxing or doing something that is noisy and adrenaline-inducing? More often than not, the latter - but the former is also nice.
What would be your idea of a personal heaven? A world powered by crystal-technology.

XD I like Violet's choice of punishment whenever Emily is bad. Reading about her obsession with Avenged Sevenfold has also made me want to seek them out on Youtube. They're a fairly recent band, aren't they?

Yeah, they recorded their first album in 2001. So they're definitely newer than the Foo Fighters. If you want something that's on the softer side, I would recommend either So Far Away or Seize the Day.

Yeah, I don't know if you would really like the heavier stuff that much. Although, I do remember you mentioning that you like Kittie - so I checked them out (gotta support female rockers, and all). And they can be pretty heavy. Have you checked out any other Led Zeppelin, besides Over the Hills and Hill Away? And have have you listened to Over the Hills and Far Away, lately?
BTW, do you have a YouTube account? If so, we should add each other to friends. It's a great way of getting my music fix and trying out new songs without having to spend money (I'll put up with the ads.) - but, unfortunately, too many haters reside there. I'm just starting to get into Avenged Sevenfold (don't know why, exactly) - but that band seems to have so many haters, which is quite distressing to me. Although, granted, Led Zeppelin and Foo Fighters also have their share of haters.

Yeah, I don't know if you would really like the heavier stuff that much. Although, I do remember you mentioning that you like Kittie - so I checked them out (gotta support female rockers, and all). And they can be pretty heavy. I'll have to give Avenged Sevenfold's heavier stuff a try, and see what I think. After all, you'll never know how you feel about something until you've tried, right? Yeah, I think most of Kittie's stuff is heavy. A few of my favorite songs by them are Brackish, Safe [Radio Edit], Spit, Jonny (which is a pretty heavy song, IMO), and Into the Darkness Vocal Remix]. BTW, do you like HIM? They're another metal band I've loved for years, and one that can be quite heavy at times. Other than Over the Hills and Far Away, I'm afraid I haven't heard much Led Zeppelin. ^^'' Are there any more songs you recommend? If so, please don't hesitate to share. It's funny you should mention Youtube, as I'm actually considering making a new account. My old one is in a bit of a shamble ATM, ever since I deleted most of my fan-made music videos after receiving one of those copyright violations e-mails from Youtube about four years ago. I haven't uploaded or added anything new to my account since. Anyway, when I do make a new one - which I intend to do - we can definitely add each other as friends. Yeah, my friend was on Youtube a few days ago, reading comments Evanescence fans had left on music by the band We Are the Fallen. She was telling me that some the fans believe We Are the Fallen to be copying Evanescence's style, which we both think is ridiculous. The reason they sound similar is because three of the five members of We Are the Fallen are Amy Lee's former bandmates (including Ben Moody). They've only released one album, and I've heard just a little of the first track, but already I'm enjoying them. I remember you mentioned a while back that you're a fan of Evanescence, too, so you might like We Are the Fallen. I agree that it is often upsetting to be part of a fandom in which so many haters reside (I have another friend who's dealt with such in multiple fandoms, and she found it incredibly stressful, too). I've found the best thing to do in situations like that is to just ignore the craziness. You have a right to like whatever it is you want. If certain people are going to get upset with you for liking one thing and not another, or for liking something they think goes against something else you like, then they need to step back and realize just how silly they're being.

Stairway to Heaven is the most popular Led Zeppelin song.
My favorite Led Zeppelin song after Over The Hills and Far Away is D'yer Ma'ker. I believe I posted a video of Lady Gaga covering that song a while back.

For starters, my next two favourite Led Zeppelin songs are What Is and What Should Never Be and The Ocean. Kashmir is another popular song (and one that the Led Zeppelin members prefer to Stairway to Heaven), and I also like Nobody's Fault But Mine. If you are interested in checking out Avenged Sevenfold's heavier stuff, Nightmare and Welcome to the Family are two of their latest hits - along with the song I already mentioned, So Far Away. I'm not sure why I'm starting to like Avenged Sevenfold. I'm not quite sure how I got into any band, really. I was a little surprised to find myself beginning to like the Foo Fighters, as well - but Dave Grohl did record with John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin, got to perform with John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page, and was a Led Zeppelin fan growing up. Although, I don't like Foo Fighters just because of the Led Zeppelin connection - and they don't really sound much like Led Zeppelin. But, in the end, I'm not gonna let what haters think deter me from liking Avenged Sevenfold. After all, I didn't let them deter me from liking arena rock and hair metal. Also, I think Led Zeppelin was bashed much more during the '70s - and I guess, if the internet and YouTube existed back then, then there would be people making lots of videos bashing Led Zeppelin. Also, there would probably be quite a few young people complaining about there being no (or very little) good music since 1959 or 1969 - and how today's music doesn't have the same soul (Bob Seger reference). I think, subconsciously, I've been liking Avenged Sevenfold for several months - but I've been afraid to admit that I like them, even to myself. Not that I disliked them, but just that I couldn't see myself really getting into the band. Or, so I thought. But, yeah, screw what haters think! I think the way they treat fans of bands they don't like really speaks volumes of how much their opinions are worth. I'll check out HIM, a little later. And, BTW, Adelitas Way is an even newer band that I really like. I think they were only around since 2009. Their two well-known hits are Invincible and Sick. Also, let me know when you create a new YouTube account.

Thank you for the song recommendations, you two! I'll be sure to check them out. And freebird, I think I remember that video featuring Lady GaGa singing D'yer Ma'ker. It was awesome! @quags: It's cool that Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters was a fan of Led Zeppelin when he was a kid. It's always fascinating to learn what celebrities' interests are/were, especially when those interests are the same as yours. My friend and I have the sneaking suspicion that one of our favorite authors must have read this other book we like, as one of the characters in it bears some similarities to the other author's character. I think you're right about the haters of the '70s being no different from those of today, if the internet and Youtube had been around then. You shouldn't be afraid to admit to anyone and especially to yourself that you like Avenged Sevenfold. If it helps, I think you've already made that fact quite clear, in your Beatrice and Bertie interviews, so you needn't worry about hiding it anymore. I know what you mean, though, about being afraid to admit you like something for fear of being judged. For example, when I tell people I like to write, I try to avoid telling them I write fanfiction, since I've been criticized in the past (mostly from my family) for not sticking to my own stuff. That, and the fact that it tends to get quite awkward while trying to explain the definition of fanfiction to someone who's never heard of it. XD Anyway, I chose to ignore the opinions of others, because I'm doing something that makes me happy and gives me confidence. Definitely let me know what you think of HIM - I'll even recommend some songs, if you'd like. I remember you mentioning Adelita's Way and have been curious about them ever since, so I'll check them out, along with those two songs. Oh, and I'll definitely give you the head's up once I've created a new YouTube account. ^^

You make some good points, and you're also right about some people can be so judgemental of people who like to write fan fiction. Really, though, it's no different from any other hobby. As far as YouTube goes, maybe I should try to stop reading the comments - and just enjoy the videos. The plus side is that all the Avenged Sevenfold videos that I've watched have about a 49:1 ratio (even 99:1, at times) of likes to dislikes - which is actually not much different from what the Led Zeppelin and Foo Fighters videos have. I actually feel kind of sorry for the Justin Bieber fans (even though I myself am not a fan), because his videos (especially his most popular one) have so many haters on them. I don't like Justin Bieber, either - but I stick to watching videos that I do like. Music snobs of all sorts suck. I never got on too well in the Led Zeppelin community, due to there being too many Led Zeppelin snobs. Doesn't seem as bad with Foo Fighters - but they really do have their share of snobs, as well. I'm quite certain Avenged Sevenfold snobs exist, as well - which I don't want to deal with, either. Heavy metal snobs, though, seem to be the worst - since they are critical of bands and genres that they do not perceive to be "real metal", and people who happen to like said bands. I mean, how does other people liking bands that they don't like have any bearing on their lives? Then, again, many of them do also bash Pantera - and even Metallica. On a side note, the idea that people who like newer rock/metal bands don't usually like older rock/metal bands is typically not true. If that was the case, then we wouldn't have active rock radio stations (stations that play new rock and classic rock). That might be true of people who listen to the new "top forty" pop stuff, but fans of new rock/metal generally do also like some of the older rock/metal stuff - and, even if they might not care for older rock/metal styles, generally appreciate and respect them. Also, yeah, I would be open to HIM recommendations. Kittie recommendations would also be nice.

While we're on "the next generation" (who are not anywhere near as unfortunate), I'm gonna do Rupert and Teddy.
What is your full name?
Rupert: Rupert Montgomery Quagmire Teddy: Theodore Arthur Quagmire
What is your birth date?
Rupert: June 14, 1998 Teddy: June 17, 1998
How old are you currently?
Rupert: I am currently seventeen years old. (the year is 2015) Teddy: Same with me. People often mistake us for twins. Rupert: But, in actuality, we're look-alike cousins.
What is your hair and eye colour?
Rupert: We have medium brown hair... Teddy: ... and slate-blue eyes.
How tall are you?
Rupert: 5' 4'' tall. Teddy: Same with me.
Do you have a significant other? If so, who?
Rupert: Yeah, I'm dating Stacy Stebbs. Teddy: While I'm dating her identical twin sister, Stephanie.
What is your favourite genre of music? Also, what is your favourite artist or band?
Rupert: We like pretty much anything rock and metal, except for the real extreme stuff. We both grew up liking Led Zeppelin, which I still like. My favourite newer bands, though, are Adelitas Way and Art of Dying. Teddy: Yeah, we'll never stop liking Led Zeppelin. My favourite newer bands are a toss-up between Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet for My Valentine. I like heavy metal-ish hard rock. Rupert: We like Foo Fighters quite a bit, as well. Dare I say, we even like them better than Nirvana. Teddy: That's right. We even sneaked off to see them, when we were ten - and got in trouble for it. Fortunately, our dads convinced our moms to lighten the punishment.
Do you like Led Zeppelin? If so, what is your favourite song by them?
Rupert: Oh, definitely. My favourite song by them is Out On The Tiles. I wish that song got more radio play. Teddy: The appropriate question is, who doesn't like Led Zeppelin. Over the Hills and Far Away is such a lovely song, but I cry every time I hear it.
Do you like Foo Fighters? If so, what is your favourite song by them?
Rupert: Most definitely! I'm not sure what my absolute favourite song by them is. I love Breakout, I'll Stick Around, and Rope. Teddy: I have a soft spot for Everlong and My Hero. Those songs make me cry, sometimes. I don't care for their acoustic stuff as much, though. Rupert: I do, sometimes - when I'm in the right mood for it.
What is your favourite number?
Rupert: I like the number 69. Don't like the sexual meaning of it, but I love the way it looks. Teddy: Mine is 666 - and, no, it's not a Satanic number. That would be 616. I just think it's a very fascinating number.
What is your favourite word?
Rupert: Mine would be "awesome". It sounds nice, and I like what it means. Teddy: My favourite word as "headbanger", because that's what I am.
Do you like your name?
Rupert: For the most part, yet. Teddy: I'm not terribly fond of it, but it's okay.
Have you ever wanted to change your name? Or did you?
Rupert: I used to wish my name was "Robert" - but, now, I think "Rupert" is a pretty distinguished name. Teddy: I used to wish my name was "Todd". Still do, sometimes. Say, can "Todd" be short for "Theodore"? After all, "Ted" is.
Do you like the word "harmony"?
Rupert: Sure! It's not my absolute favourite word, but I like it. Teddy: Yeah, I think it sounds nice - and I like what it means.
Do you prefer sweet or savoury?
Rupert: Tangy-sweet savoury - so, I guess, a little of both. But I do like sweets, as well. Teddy: I, too, have a weakness for tangy-sweet.
Are you a chocolate lover?
Rupert: Yeah, I do. As long as it's not white chocolate or German chocolate. Teddy: Same here - although, I do like white chocolate. I agree on not liking German chocolate, though.
Do you like fish or chicken - or both?
Rupert: Both are good, but I prefer me some fried chicken. Teddy: I prefer me some beer-battered cod, but I do also like chicken.
Have you ever had a grasshopper or a mint shake? If so, do you like them?
Rupert: McDonald's has great Shamrock shakes. Not even interested in touching alcohol. Teddy: I love the Shamrock shakes, too. I'm not interested in drinking, either - but I am curious as to what a grasshopper tastes like.
Are your feet ticklish?
Rupert: Oh, God! Yes! Yes! Yes! My feet are so unbearably ticklish, even being tickled there for ten seconds is too much. My girlfriend likes to tickle my feet for two hours, though. Teddy: Same as with Rupert, including the "girlfriend" part. My girlfriend, that is. I'm not sure which of us have feet that are more ticklish. Rupert: I'd say that our feet are equally ticklish.
Do you prefer picnics or barbecues?
Rupert: Barbecues. I prefer for my food to be hot. Teddy: Yeah, same here.
Would your idea of pleasure be doing something that is quiet and relaxing or doing something that is noisy and adrenaline-inducing?
Rupert: Mostly the latter, but the former is also nice. Teddy: Yeah, same here.
What would be your idea of a personal heaven?
Rupert: Me, Teddy, and our girlfriends - at a hard rock festival. Teddy: You've got that right. Rupert and Teddy: *does the metal horns*
