Thankyou! That's very helpful. The movie posters look nice, but truthfully I wish that they had more book posters with Helquist illustrations. I wish there was more series merchandise.

They had calendars for 2004 and 2005 with Helquist art, but even that was all from the books.

I know about the calenders- I think they also had a 2006 one.....sigh....they should so make a 2012 calender! If they don't i'll probably just print out helquist pictures and stick them over the pictures in my own calender.

The 2006 calendar was just recycled, I think - thrown together by Egmont, without any fresh content. With any luck, the new series will be popular enough to get us some more calendars, or merchandise of that nature.

This poster has the same art from the 2004 calendar, but blown up and with a caption. But it's also possible to make your own Snicket merchandise, the printed calendar you mentioned being one available option.

Yeah. On my wall I have a poster I made myself of all black and white Helquist illustrations, I will try to post a picture.

Sounds good; it would be interesting to see that.
Edit: Of course, I've just remembered another poster - the double-sided one that comes with The Beatrice Letters.

I lost my Beatrice letters poster ages ago What does it look like again? What are the pictures on both sides?

I can't find a good image right now, but one side depicts the Beatrice shipwrecked somewhere in the ocean (one can spot a whisk, a ribbon, and a pair of eyeglasses spaced among the drifting remainders of the boat and the barrels it was transporting). The other side shows a cave looking out to the ocean, where photographs of said items plus a fedora, books, binoculars, and a water canister lay scattered on the floor. Two bats are perched near the stalactites.

Oh yes, I remember now. I'm actually hoping my parents will buy me a new copy of the book soon.

Hot tip from a collector: If you have two copies of TBL, you can hang up both posters and see both sides at once! This concludes my advice for people with too much money.

Too much money.....you can still order the book off amazon for around £4/$6...... And also, slightly off topic, I saw a Justin Beiber advert at the top of this forum today. Oh, I never thought this dreadful day would come.....*sob*
