You already know, but eh - 1st Jun: Daniel Handler responds to his birthday gift, urging us to watch EW.com for information. Later that day, the first chapter of WCTBATH is released. That's not quite how it happened. I hope to be able to give more details on this soon.

Since the final timeline will be posted at 667 on June 20th, I'd like to put a deadline for new additions: June 13th. If you look at the timeline you'll see that starting in 2005, everything is written twice. It has to be that way to be centered, but higher up one of the sides has been colored black. Once I've stopped taking in new additions, I can do that to the rest of the line while still keeping the one left, one right pattern. I will also add all the hyperlinks then, and make the post on my forum un-viewable to guests, so that the big reveal is, well, a reveal.

So we have three days. What do people think still needs doing? I'm a bit worried because a lot of the people collecting material are still quite new (compared with the lifetime of 667) - Kensicle, Brunch, Sherry Ann and me - and while we can quite easily find events of specified kinds, book releases, DH meetings, notable stories, competitions and so on, it's less easy for us to get a sense of what was preoccupying the board, and so to pick out events of less specific kinds which may have been important. Linda's original request included moments of drama, and a few have been listed, but they look a bit random to me. Any thoughts?
By the way, Linda, I notice a few things haven't been added to the timeline, including a couple you brought up yourself - is this deliberate, or will they be added later?

Is the dates of "The best of the best" gag account included? I could find those, from one of the early editions of The 667er.

By the way, Linda, I notice a few things haven't been added to the timeline, including a couple you brought up yourself - is this deliberate, or will they be added later? There are a couple I haven't got around to adding, but I will go add them right now. Edit: I found 4 items that had not been added, but not anything I had written. Do you see something I missed? Edit again: I went over this thread with a fine-toothed comb and found two more, including one that I had posted. Total event count is now 232 (wow!)

May 22nd 2012 - Why We Broke Up movie is announced. As Hermes pointed out, I'm a new member, but there was a certain Kate and Ann scandal that's mentioned a lot in offand remarks; Pig caused quite a stir as well, it would be good if we had dates for that. Edit: 21 Jun 2007 The Baudelaire Mansion is officially announced.

Derik and I moved in together on January 23rd, 2012. Not specifically 667-related, but as we did meet here, I thought it'd be cute to add.

Edit: I found 4 items that had not been added, but not anything I had written. Do you see something I missed? The things mentioned by you that I thought were missing were 'That sentence made no exist' (which you may have judged wasn't important enough) and A Series of Quiglet Events. I definitely think ASOQE should be included - it's still stickied at FF, showing that it was clearly regarded as pretty important. I think Divided should be included as well. Are there any other stories people think are important enough to include? I'm taking it we shouldn't include everything in Linda's old list which Kensicle linked - that's meant to be comprehensive rather than selective - but is there anything that people think stands out? As Hermes pointed out, I'm a new member, but there was a certain Kate and Ann scandal that's mentioned a lot in offand remarks; Pig caused quite a stir as well, it would be good if we had dates for that. Yes, I could name a couple as well - there was a Songbird scandal, for instance. (It wasn't Songbird who was being scandalous, if I understand it correctly.) But that's still random. What would be nice is if a couple of people who were there at the time were to say what events stood out for them. (And thanks for the great work, Linda.)
