Nominations for the summer book club 2012 are underway. Anyone may nominate a book for the forum to read this summer provided they meet the following guidelines
1. Must be appropriate for at least ages 13 and up (I don't think we have too many younger members now but with the new book coming out who knows) 2. Nominations must include the title, author and ISBN number so that way we can properly locate it. 3. It cannot be any of the following books as we have already read them: The Hunger Games (1st book), Cloud Atlas, Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell, or the Book Thief 4. Books must be less than 700 pages Nominations will end on the 13th of June. Voting will begin on the 14th. Summer book club winner: Title: Pizza and Coffee Author: Michelle Theodoulou ISBN: 1468002279 www.createspace.com/3735443

Yay, book club is back! I really needed some encouragement to read, so this comes in good time. Don't really have any suggestions right now, though, sorry.

If it's feasible, we could read Shelly's book, Pizza and Coffee. It looks pretty interesting, and it's a bit like having a "local" author! Edit: Well, I linked the information, but for easy reference: Title: Pizza and CoffeeAuthor: Michelle Theodoulou ISBN: 1468002279

11/22/63 by Steven King (cause I have it but haven't read it yet!) What is that book about? I thought it was referring to Doctor Who at first, but then I looked it up and realized that it began on the 23rd of November 1963.

You don't need to second stuff. This thread right now is for nominations only. If you don't have an additional nomination please don't second one that has already been listed

I thought it was referring to Doctor Who at first, but then I looked it up and realized that it began on the 23rd of November 1963. It's the date of Kennedy's assassination and it involves time travel and stuff. Pretty rad.

Thanks so much, guys! Pizza and Coffee is going through a resubmission process, so the ISBN number's going to change. Edit: I'm offering a discount to 667 members; it only works if purchased through the CreateSpace channel. PM me if you're interested.
