With Patrick being half Japanese and Maureen being Greek and Irish, their kid must be gorgeous. Kelly is beautiful. Willow: You don't even want to know what happened in the microwave in the teachers' lounge. The assailant got suspended for 3 days.

What's Patrick's other half that isn't Japanese?

Patrick's mom is half Irish, quarter Austrian, and quarter English.

Violet: It's like the every other decade theory. The 50s were boring. The 60s rocked. The 70s, oh my god, they obviously suck. Maybe the 80s will be radical, you know.

beth: I don't know a whole lot about Monty Python, except for Holy Grail, which never fails to make me LOL. Your outtake with Veasna and Meg is really cute, though - how old are they in it? Also, will you be attending a Monty Python reunion soon? michelle: Michelle is so lucky to have parents who let her choose which kind of school she's most interested in attending. Boarding school actually doesn't sound like it would be all that bad. We have something like I-PASS here, I think, except it's called E-Z Pass. I always assumed it gave you free access to tolls, but that you had to pay a monthly fee. Good luck to Maureen and her husband getting their second child! And to you, too, when you begin student teaching. Poor Willow. I do hope she wasn't stuck cleaning up the mess made by the student in the microwave. @emma, I was inspired by Freaks and Geeks when Nick's dad sold his drumset. Harold Weir may be a hardass at times, but I think Nick's dad is ten times worse. That episode was so sad. It's one of the worst feelings in the world, when your family doesn't support your dream. Nick is kind of a jerk, at times, but he didn't deserve to be treated that way by his father. Your Monty and Jo outtake was awesome! Monty would so totally say that. XD Are the 1970s when you set the events from the books in your ficverse?

Emma: With the I-Pass, you pay half the price from what it normally costs if you pay with cash. When you go through the tolls with the I-Pass, it either deducts money from a pre-paid account or through your debit card. The initial cost for the I-Pass $50 for one that deducts through your debit card or $60 for a pre-paid account one. It can be used not only on the Illinois Tollway, but on the Chicago Skyway, the Indiana Toll Road, and in other states where the EZ-Pass is accepted. Wisconsin does not have toll roads, but we pay through the nose in income and property taxes. Michelle: The only maternity clothing items I bought while I was pregnant were a belly band, which was for that awkward phase of being too small for maternity pants, but too big for my regular pants; maternity skinny jeans; and maternity/nursing bras. I need to support my large breasts. For tops, I wore shirts that were oversized or were able to stretch over my belly, and for underwear and leggings, I bought them a size larger. My shoe size didn't change, but my skinny fingers got fatter. No, my clothes weren't tent-like. I hate baggy clothes. I loved showing off the shape of my growing belly. It's not improper or trashy anymore. When I had a small bump, I wanted to make it clear that there was a real baby in there, not a food baby. Hell, I rocked a bikini when I went to Italy at 16 weeks pregnant. And no, my mom didn't object to me wearing fitted clothes. Her friend Esme wore fitted clothes while she was pregnant both times, and Esme is 12 years older than me. ******* Samantha: My first car was my mom's hand me down BMW 3 series. I drove it until I was 22 and finished undergrad. I then got a Toyota Camry, which I still drive.

I never really thought of Nick as a jerk. I do think he was a bit too smothering when he was dating Lindsay, though.
And yes, the events take place in the 1970s in my ficverse.

For Emma's ficverse.
Math teacher: Jerome, if you had one dollar and you asked for father for another dollar, how much money would you have altogether?
Jerome: One dollar.
Math teacher: You don't know math.
Jerome: You don't know my father!

*Willow is doing an outfit of the day video* Willow: So today is my first day in grad school and my first day at my new job. I'm wearing khaki chino bermuda shorts, a white and grey striped v neck t shirt, red low top Converse, and a navy lightweight cardigan, because it's a little chilly. I have my usual accessories: my glasses, my vintage Casio watch, and my wedding and engagement rings. My earrings are my diamond studs my dad got me for my 18th birthday, my rook piercing has my usual curved barbell in it, and my nose piercing has my usual tiny diamond stud in it. My bag is my messenger bag I got for one of my graduation presents for undergrad. I've graduated from the black Jansport backpack I've been attached to since 9th grade. In case if you're wondering what I do for my job, I work in the music department. I'm also one of grad student conductors for the bands. *Jump cut* Willow: Reverie decided to join me. Reverie: Mommy! Willow: I'll be taking her to school on my way to work/school. Reverie: I like school! I'm in pre-k. Willow: She's in pre-kindergarten this year. It's all day for her. Vince picks her up from school, because I don't get home until after 6. He works 10 pm to 6 am, so that's handy.

Michelle: I was 26 when I had Jordan. And I thought it was the perfect time to start having children. Hugo and I eventually want 4 kids, but want then to be spaced out. Where I live, 26 is considered young to be starting a family, so of course I got nasty looks from strangers when I was pregnant. I don't regret becoming a mother at the age of 26 one bit.

Yep. She still gets carded when she buys alcohol, and until she was 24, M-Rated games. The freckles, curly hair, her piercings and tattoos, and how she dresses makes her look like she's 20. Ironically, when she was a preteen/young teen, strangers thought she was older than she was because she was more developed than most people her age.
Personally, at age 20, I've been mistaken for younger and older. I was once mistaken for 13 by somebody who was 13. Another time, one guy in my project group for Womens' Studies thought I was 23 or 24.
