His account of how he met Stephin Merritt is interesting. Brought together by books! Could the meeting have happened in Stain'd?

Like Mr. Helquist's appearance in the U.A., a Stephin Merritt canonisation would be delightful.

The answers he gave me were disappointing... Not that I was expecting something serious.

Well, it is called "Ask Me Anything," I suppose. And we're coming to the end of 667's list of questions; I count just one more to go.
Edit: And it's all over, apparently. I've put in a belated word of thanks.

The bits about his having nothing to announce at this time are particularly striking. (Though the first question on that topic made it sound as though there was a film of TUA being planned, which would be ... intriguing.)
And while of course The End does leave some questions unanswered, I am constantly mystified by people who continue to ask what happened to the Quagmires.

If you're eager for more people on the site maybe make a post in /r/ASOUE linking to 667? It's linked in the top post of the AMA right now. It doesn't look like the subreddit has any rules against linking to your own site so why not right? www.reddit.com/r/ASOUE

So we're getting another movie? It's basically known that discussions on a sequel to the ASoUE movie have been happening for years; Handler even wrote a script for it, as I recall. It's also possible that an ATWQ movie is being talked about, which I think would be a much better idea than returning to ASoUE for either a sequel or remake. With that said, most children's books which get film proposals don't actually make it into production. If you're eager for more people on the site maybe make a post in /r/ASOUE linking to 667? Edit: I just dug up a PW podcast from last year in which Handler mentions a potential future collaboration with Jon Klassen, but says it won't be out until after ?4 - so late 2015, early 2016... www.publishersweekly.com/pw/podcasts/index.html?channel=5&podcast=186

Ah - and ATWQ is autobiographical, of course (I suppose this is the authorised autobiography), unlike ASOUE, for the most part. Have you heard rumours of an ATWQ film,, then?
