We're still one entry down; but it seems he really likes variety. You have to remember that this is basically fanart for him personally. All of these incredibly creative works were inspired by Snicket and in large measure pay homage to him. Wouldn't you be immensely flattered? People draw for him, video for him, embroider for him.

Naturally, naturally.
It's the suspense that's the toughest
And we have a new winner. That's 4 down, 9 to go.

We do have a fourth winner! Looks like the winner won with a two-picture set, only one of which I'd seen before - but it is one I'd picked as a potential winner. Today's triple whammy: 9 Days>~- By sunny-dreams-in-winter. Selected by Lemony Snicket as one of thirteen winners of the #ATWQFanArt contest. (Source: sunny-dreams-in-winter) -~< >~- By sock-tan. If they're arguably all part of a single work, then why not?

Because it's terrible? Haha; I say that in partial jest!

I notice that so far all the winners have been Tumblr users. Wasn't this open to all social networks?

I'd guess most contributions came through Tumblr. I've even seen an account solely created to participate in the contest.

Oh, good Lord! Help me so I can win!
OMG, I'm getting more nervous; I hope I can win!

Amazon has actually updated their preview of the book (although I noticed not in all Amazon countries) up to three chapters. The bothersome thing is that they make one or two pages disappear once in a while throughout the text, which doesn't make for a good reading experience. I think that's why I kind of hesitate to make a thread about it; people should read the book without having to skip a page here and there, and the book is out in just a week anyway. (I, unfortunately, couldn't bring myself to refrain from reading Ch.2 and some of Ch.3, which kind of reinforces my decision not to post a direct link for everyone.)
But the cool thing about the preview is that there are a number of illustrations from the new book shown. Although, again, if you don't want spoilers regarding Kit Snicket's sub-storyline, you should avoid the illustrations as well, I'm afraid.

Aw heck. I'll have to go and prepare something from that preview. (Edit: I see your point, Terry Craig - it's not a real preview. It's just Search Inside having been updated; you could read quite large chunks of any part of the book if you wanted, but I don't think it counts as a real preview, so on balance, I will do nothing except discourage looking at it. You need an Amazon account to look past the first chapter, anyway.) Oh well, in the meantime, we don't have a new winner yet, but we do have a new (official!) teaser poster:

Well it's nice to see a picture of Harve; though I didn't view him with a mustache. OPD; official police department? I thought it would say OFD

Kinda funny that we thought they were doubling up on ATWQFanart winners yesterday to make up for Sunday, but today we once again didn't get one. Not sure what happened to "every day" (actual quote).
