www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/books/authorinterviews/9599974/Lemony-Snicket-interview.htmlThought this might be of interest -- I recognize a LOT of this interview/article from previous ones, but it has, it seems, been updated as it mentions the tv series (!!!) and also, right at the end, mentions that Handler has another book series planned already! No clue as to what it will be about, but still, anything Handler writes is pure gold. There's so much happening right now in the ASOUE/ATWQ world and my God am I excited! Weird. That interview is definitely old; I remember reading it way back. It just looks like they inserted a new, brief paragraph near the end.

We can pretty much assume that this is going to be an adaptation of all 13 books, right? My heart just exploded!

At long last... The day has finally arrived. Words can't describe the excitement I feel right now about this. I'm guessing, while it's being fast tracked, we won't start really seeing anything solid until 2016?

I for one think it will be bigger than one series. There's certainly the fan demand -- people want to see this -- and there's ABSOLUTELY enough material to keep it running for many, many seasons. To be honest, my mind is just boggling at all the possibilities here. I don't think I can fully comprehend just how much there potentially is in store for us here, and it's thrilling to be around during the build-up, the speculation and the excitement. There are so many plotlines, not to mention characters and settings (not to mention so many books!) that were left out of the film, and which we'll now have a chance to explore on screen for the first time. I'm both excited and nervous for the casting -- I think, as we know and love the characters so well, it's always nerve-wracking to imagine how on earth they could be portrayed well enough on screen -- but I'm confident with Handler so involved that everything will turn out brilliantly.

The weirdest thing about it is that they don't seem to acknowledge the fact that it's basically just a rebranded old interview with a tiny extra bit at the end, but talk as if it's a brand new article ... Still, it's always great to (re)read his interviews, and the last paragraph is certainly thrilling!

you can use something like hupu as a browser plugin to get around country access limitations, or perhaps someone will be sneaky and clever enough to download the episodes and share? (i don't actually know how to download stuff from netflix, but i'm sure it's possible.)

Where there's a will, there's a way, let's put it that way.

I don't foresee access to the series being a particular problem.

Where there's a will, there's a relative
That should be the tagline for the series
