i'm only mentioning the ones that got votes because there's too many otherwise and this is pure stream of consciousness right now, gonna use this to practice my thesaurus skills before i start on an essay
so nominees are
"2014 groupies" by groupit
"finest cord elections" by anka
"thankless figures" by lizzie
"wot woz da hindmost concept" by pandora
"imaginary sketches appeal" by pevalwen
"do you like mangoes" by coley
lol this is so dumb but i wanted to put more than no effort in
I just realised that I could maybe do my award presentation too
So let's look at the Best Pairing award now!
If I had to give this award to only one person, there would be no tie. The winner would be Dante, if you add the votes for the two pairings he has been nominated in. But this is an award for pairings. And guess what there is? A tie! The Best Pairing award 2015 exists in 2 different editions:

Some fantastic speeches, folks! I especially enjoyed Sam's and Lemona's. Congratulations to the winners in the other categories! I really like the choices/votes made.
And holy GUAC I did not expect to be a joint winner with Dante (and moseymoo) for Best Volunteer. I guess people really took to heart when Sophie suggested to vote for unexpected people and I thank y'all for it. Although I do fully intend to compile a detailed list of literary references from the upcoming, final ATWQ book like I did with the first two (and a bit of the 3rd), so I guess I'm selling myself a bit short.
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: If anyone has a banner of mine that's missing due to TinyPic shutting down, you can get it back from my Arts+Crafts thread, here, where I've re-uploaded all of them to a new server.

Congrats: Bee and Kyle Dante, Moseymoo and Terry Dante and Antenora, Lariie and Pen Pandora (Pandora won Best Thread, right? I found that speech a bit confusing).
Congrats also on the great speeches! (Lemona for Best Volunteer next year, after that amazingly Lemony work?)
Terry, you absolutely deserve this award, for your Tumblr, which is a major contribution to fandom, for your allusion lists and all your input here. I'm also very happy to see Moseymoo getting the recognition she deserves for her great Snicket criticism.

Writing is what we do all the time at 667. Come to think of it, I'm writing now. But some kinds of writing stand out, and this year we have an award to honour all of them. Among the forms of writing nominated for this award are:
Fanfic: Occurrences at Black Cat Coffee, by E.F. Preludio by Hermes (who he?). The Ravenous Restaurant, by Tiago Squalor. What Was That Noise, chapter 2, by Bandit. (I’m not sure why only chapter 2.) Why Do You Ask? (and What Are You Doing There?) by Dante.
667fic: 667uardians of the 667alaxy, by BSam. 667 Labyrinth, by Mr M and Anka. The guest writer story in the first issue of the new 667er, by Mr M. The Wolf and the Pen, by Mr M.
Poetry: ‘Banditverse’, by Bandit. Snicketology: ‘667 Reviews: all the Wrong Questions ?3’, by Dante.
Journalism: ‘History of 667’, by Linda Rhaldeen. Power Rankings, by Pandora. Rants, by Lemona Snicket. ‘What’s Kpoppin’’, by Charlie. The 667er, by lots of people.
Terry Craig: that was an ace retort tbh, jean

jeanlucio10: I would like to read now a short story written by Lemony Snicket about how VFD helped to defeat Nazism. This would be interesting to introduce the subject to children.
Jan 27, 2020 21:27:54 GMT -5
jeanlucio10: "Anne Frank - the Diary of a Young Girl",could be the book club's third book? I haven't read this one either.
Jan 27, 2020 21:35:14 GMT -5
Terry Craig: I think the historical events are interesting enough on their own, and don't need to be taught just to introduce children to Lemony Snicket.

jeanlucio10: You're right Terry.

jeanlucio10: This request of mine was a selfish appeal from my heart, disguised as a request on behalf of the children.
