tbh I don't like the style of the insignia much. It's alright but I would have liked something more sketch-like, or maybe something that looks like ink or idk anything less polished (if that makes sense). At what point do we jointly hire someone to skydive onto the set? If you all jointly pay the expenses, I'll do it. Seriously, if I could afford it i'd be investigating a trip to Vancouver - I've travelled for Snicket stuff before.

I tried to sharp the image, make it bigger, less bright, change the contrast, etc to see if any paper (the one with the VFD symbol, the one on its right, the colored one, the ones in the calendar) would turn out to be readable, but I had no success. I'll keep trying tomorrow morning in the office.
(In moments like this I'd really like to have all the technology they have in CSI)

I think the list of colours may refer to the sheets to the right. There's also a lot of Olaf stuff going on during what I presume to be this month I wonder if Sweetie is aware that the fun snaps of her cooky cowboy-loving husband are being scrutinised by large amounts of people. Also, only a vague link, but there are flowers here as there were in the chair image- perhaps part of the scene being shot at the moment: http://instagram.com/p/BD6ZZQCiLRG To moderators- this is somewhat deviating from just the eye logo with general photograph analysis, which I think is equally productive and engaging. Would it be appropriate to change the thread name to something like Analysis of Photographs from Shooting, so we don't feel we're going off-topic/don't have to start a new thread?

Perhaps an official discussion thread?
I highly doubt they're going to draw an eye like that with a miniature portrait inside on the actors' ankles, and am instead choosing to think of it as the show's logo rather than a definitive eye tattoo.

There seem to be pictures on the desk of a dark-haired girl with bangs. Perhaps Malina Weissman (in costume?)?
Also, on the first line of the orange notes I can make out: D1: Street Trolley, ?Briny Beach?, ? D2: ?, Strauss' ?Home?, Olaf's ?Yard? D3: ? D4: Strauss' Library D5: Strauss' Library, ?
The rest of them that are visible all seem to say "Olaf" somewhere (except D10, which I can't read a but of), but not much else besides "house" or "yard." D15 seems more interesting, though - I'm fairly certain the first line is "Olaf's House Kitchen," the second is a word that begins with T and then an I or a 1 (my heart wants it to say "Teaser 1" but I doubt that's possible at this stage), and the middle word of the last line looks like "of" but I'm uncertain about the other two. My eyes first interpreted it as "Edge of Pond," which I feel is completely senseless.

Trouble, I think it'd be nice to keep the discussion in this thread and just change the title, rather than make a new one (unless that's what you mean), but it's up to you- I don't mind Perhaps the Strassy things on the calendar explain the flowers

Perhaps the Strassy things on the calendar explain the flowers That's what I was thinking too. If the picture was taken approximately 11 hours ago (as I believe the timestamp read) then it would've been one of the days with a "Strauss Library" note, so that's likely a corner of the famed garden of Justice Strauss. On a side note, I think I might be having too much fun with this.

I too tried messing around with the images to read things easier but had no luck. I am highly mistrustful of Barry now I know he buys tissue boxes with novelty prints. But there are redeeming pinstripes.
I agree about renaming this thread to something like what Pevalwen suggested.

Oooh! I've never been happier to hurt my eyes with so much blurry text.
Further review of the first hardhat image brings me this: the paper on the far left with the logo definitely says "A Series of Unfortunate Events" on line one, then what looks like "Olaf Productions Inc." followed by an address that I BELIEVE is the official address of Olaf Productions Inc. as found when one Googles the company name, however trying to decipher a blurry address on a paper in the background of someone's Instagram picture somehow crosses my comfort boundaries, so I'm going to let that one go. The rest of the paper is far too small for me to read.
Also, on second look the photos of the girl on the desk seem to be a series of photos in different angles with the girl's hair moved away, which strengthens my suspicion that it may be a costume, perhaps for the beach or the dreadful Poe clothes, but I wouldn't put any money on it. I am hesitant to believe anything we see entirely, because I expect them to try to trick us at some point.
Looking over the second picture, I unfortunately am finding it harder to focus my eyes, probably due to the fact that it's past 3:30 in the morning. I can tell that the two lines of D2 previously out-of shot say what I think is "Trolley" again, and another "Briny Beach," that there are in fact TWO bottles of alcohol in the office, not one, and that Mr. Sonnenfeld displays a suspicious proclivity for kiwi-printed tissue boxes. I'll have to give the rest a try after my eyes are rested.
Edit: I've forgotten the most important part. I am very fond of his tie, which endears him to me. Can we trust this man, who seeks to endear himself to us with lovely ties, yet simultaneously seeks to push us away with hideous tissue containers? What does he truly want from us? Are we playing right into his hands?

What a tease, giving us all this information but just slightly too far for us to see. It turns out the eye was about three weeks ago http://instagram.com/p/BC0ioTdSP8u There are also black and white images (concepts?) on the wall. The dress images on his desk are black and white and the chair aesthetics reflect black and white films- hmmm. Perhaps coincidental. Then again, presuming the dress pictures and the potential designs are concepts/designs, why not have them in colour if they're not intended to appear in black and white on screen (unless they're contrast tests but unlikely)? <crazy theory out of very little evidence Maybe they're just photocopies ha.

There seem to be pictures on the desk of a dark-haired girl with bangs. Perhaps Malina Weissman (in costume?)? Seems pretty possible. I've been suspecting that Violet would be given a white dress of some sort. After all her coat has always had that white skirt hanging at the bottom in the illustration, but we were never shown what her dress looked like without the coat. The dress images on his desk are black and white and the chair aesthetics reflect black and white films- hmmm. The dress image isn't black and white, if you look closely you'll see a tan wall behind the girl in the dress.
