What?
I don't know if this is some in-joke or not but I quite clearly remember you posting some photos of your meeting with Rellim a year ago. Both of you were white. In fact, I remember me thinking that you looked quite a bit like Ellen Page.

Pretty sure Sophie knows her own race better than you lol.
I am unfortunately whiter than cottage cheese. I seem to remember Sora being half black? Also I think there was a guy with the username Count Olaf a few years back who said he was black.

When I first heard about black people and white people I thought about people being black like the background of this post, and people being white like the writing. Both seemed scary. I'm happy that everyone is some shade of human-colour.

Can't really believe some of the comments Sophie received in this thread
I'm mixed too (not half black half white though) and so much of this rings true to me, childhood flashbacks like:"Where are you from? Are you sure? Are you sure you're not adopted? Are you sure she's your sister?"

I know there is at least one black person here other than Sophie.
I have often thought, though, that we have surprisingly few black people, although we have quite a lot of Asians (including our founder, of course).

In my defense I have to say that we're not as used as Americans or Europeans to racial problems or differences. I didn't really know that people with a black parent/family considered themselves black per se; when I hear about black people, or asian, or latino, I automatically think about facial features/skin and not heritage, though now I think of it it makes sense.
Here we're all mixed, so no one considers themselves black, white, mixed, latino or whatever, not even black, white, mixed or latino people. Every year when I work with the American students they're really surprised/worried when they hear people telling each other "nigga" (negro) on the streets to one another and laughing about it, since here it's more like a "dude" kind of thing and not an insult/offense/racist word.
